I love this place its absolutely incredible. The biscuits and gravy needs to come with a warning label to let you know how addictive it is and the donuts and pastries are something out of a fairy tale. Everything is cheap so everyone can enjoy the heaven that Red Hen Cafe and Bakery has to offer.

The cinnamon rolls, raspberry rolls and cream cheese pumpkin muffins are amazing! We’ve ordered a few other menu items that were just ok. I would recommend that Customer Service do a little bit better. Twice now, we have ordered ahead online and once gotten there were told that our items were not available. I understand things can happen with online ordering, but it’s happened twice now and we’ve not even been offered anything for the inconvenience. There should be a better system. The very least, a phone call before we get there.

Waited 20 minutes for 1 iced latte and I was told there were still a few people in front of me. However, a young gentleman walked in and ordered about 10-12 minutes after me and received there coffee within 3 minutes (which i mentioned to them)! It then took 5 more minutes for me to get mine. What the heck! Not a very good 1st impression...

The Red Hen is an awesome little Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch spot! I stop here about twice a month. Everything I have tried is delicious and made fresh! I even love their Yogurt and berry parfait! 614 is my favorite drink.

Absolutely blown away, It’s so hard for me to eat out because of the lack of homemade high quality food and this cafe exceeded expectations. This morning was the first time we visited, we started with the pecan cinnamon roll and it was unbelievable. Didn’t last 5 minutes between me and my fiancé. He ordered the full nest breakfast, and I got the quiche. Get the house made biscuits with the full nest. The Jam they bring out with them is heavenly…. The quince’s crust was house made and so flaky. Flavors of both breakfasts were fantastic. Needed nothing! I ordered the honey cinnamon breve latte and wow. Seriously no words to how good this place was!!The owner even came and talked to us and brought us our food and coffee. She was the absolute sweetest! Love seeing her in her own shop and her attention to detail was immaculate. She took the time to answer all of our questions when we were orderingBest coffee shop and bakery in central Ohio!Kid-friendliness: Saw so many families there!

Currently one of my favorite coffee shops. Though the food is really good also. I like the varied options. There are some if you are feeling crunchy that day, but also plenty if you are looking for comfort food. One of my favorites is their shrimp and grits. If you haven't tried it yet, you really should.

This place was popping on a Saturday morning and makes sense as to why, the signature drinks list was a very unique line up! I ordered the baked oats with a fresh fruit cup on the side which made the best combo. Additionally, ordered the cinnamon roll that was enough for 2! Definitely a must stop place in Plain City.
