The food is better at the New Middletown location - save yourself some trouble and just go there.I have gone to the DQ in Poland a few times and most of the time my order is wrong. Today they gave me two of the same blizzards when one was supposed to be chocolate based and the other was supposed to be fruit. They looked the same so we asked which was which and got told they were what we ordered and different from each other but not marked - they were both the same. Not to mention the chicken was burnt and the gravy tasted like flour.

The chocolate ice cream is pretty good. The vanilla is not as good as it used to be. Actually, the same goes for the burgers. They are a bit dry and the taste was not fresh. I really like hamburgers, but these just aren't fresh enough.

We stopped into the Dairy Queen in Poland, OH last night to get a sundae and the place was in total chaos! I counted 12 employees all packed behind the counter at the same time... all bumping into one another, some appeared frantic and not a single one knew what was going on. My husband and I both ordered banana splits. Nope! Out of bananas. Ok, how about a strawberry sundae? Sorry... out of strawberries too! There were way too many cooks in the kitchen... maybe 1 of them should have ran over to Giant Eagle and picked up some ingredients! (LOL!) I have never witnessed anything like it. The situation reminded me of a clown car... on fire!
