Traditional pub experience. Good food and drink. They have a large menu to choose from. We will be back to try more of what they have to offer. Great burgers!!

Port City Pub is probably the quintessential place to experience Portsmouth. Everyone loves it, and for good reason - great prices for drinks, for food, and the atmosphere is always good. They support the local artists, groups, and always have an eye on the community. There are always phenomenal events, and the staff are very real while also being wonderful people. The head chef is proud of his potato soup, as he should be. It’s TO DIE FOR!You’ll love this place!

Daughter, husband, and I had drinks and appetizer here during happy hour on Friday 11/24 while in town for Winterfest. Our server was very kind. We enjoyed the beer flight, pineapple upside down cake cocktail, and hummus w/ pita bread/veggies. Convenient parking behind building, cozy fireplace, live music are other features that will bring us back for future visits.

Just...NO!The laziness involved in the food is an insult to my intelligence. The pretzels are breadsticks, the Shepherd's pie is a TV dinner, and the Cuban sandwich is a ham and cheese. Never again.

Closes at 11 even on holiday weekends even with a full bar of people. Owner was present and didn't seem to care.

Always a good time. Laid-back atmosphere, great food, and amazing drink selection. Also, always the nicest staff. Been coming for a few decades now.

There was only one waitress, which was curt and rude. They have no deep fryer, so all food is done in an airfryer. The hamburger our friend ordered looked like no hamburger we ever saw. In fact, it looked like a veggie burger, inedible, and tasted like one, a waste of money. I ordered a wrap with ranch and had to pay extra for the ranch dipping sauce. A place we will never return to again and encourage others to be aware.

Fun Irish Pub with an extensive menu and beer’s, both draft & bottle. Great service and even met the head chef before he started his kitchen duties for the evening.
