Gave this place a go from a friend's recommendation. The reviews were mediocre and not the best rating however we tried anyway. The reviews for this place are pretty accurate, 3* at best. It's a mom/pop/kid place with 1 table in there to sit at, so plan on takeout. The other table is full of school stuff and other things. They had my order ready exactly when i wanted and they seemed nice. When it comes down to the food, everything was really bland imo. The beef mai fun as you can see is white, it's like there is no sauce or anything, maybe just a little sesame oil. The egg rolls were pretty tasteless as well. The pork fried rice and the crab rangoons were good. The kung po chicken was mediocre, not much spice to it. The egg drop wonton soup was really thin, normally i see it a bit thicker. Once again that was pretty bland as well. Unfortunately, I don't think i will be back. I appreciate the service, good luck to you guys.

The quality of food has really gone downhill in the past two years.The Lo mein, edamame and the fried rice is way too buttery. I recently ordered sesame chicken here, and it was really hard, barely editable and tasted like seafood for some reason. After eating the sesame chicken, it didn’t take long for me to feel ? then… ?.I’m gonna rate this place two stars because the couple (I believe) who work here always treated me very well as a customer. But as of now, no more Golden China moving forward for me. ?

Maybe this was an anomaly, but I submitted an on-line order that was supposed to be ready at 6:22 PM. When I arrived on time to pick it up, I was told it wasn't ready yet but that they had my order. Little did I know that I would end up waiting more than AN HOUR for my food! It was ready at 7:30. I would never have waited had they told me it would be so long! Then, I was driving home and about 10 minutes later they call me- they had forgotten one of the appetizers I had ordered and asked if I wanted to come back for it. No thank you! The food was fine but I will not be ordering from here again.

Normally Golden China is my go to place, however after my visit tonight, I will be looking for a new place. The food is good, but not worth the hour plus wait AFTER my quoted pickup time.

I've now ordered Golden China via Door Dash 4-5 times, and it's always really good. Hot, quick and correct. And better than the chains in the area. I'll continue to order from Golden China. Great stuff!

Wow! This is the best chicken and egg roll I've had at a Chinese place! No hard crunchy bits and big pieces it's so filling I haven't even gotten to my rice yet! So delicious

We leave about 20 minutes away and I have absolutely no issue driving there to pick up the food. The owners are AMAZING and the food is FANTASTIC. They treat their customers like their own family, and never cut any corners. I had managed a Chinese restaurant before and cooked there as well 20 plus years ago; Trust me, It takes a great skill to make good Americanized Chinese food. There are other Chinese restaurants within a mile range, but these guys are way more superior!!!Gary M. / Powell
