We tried the blueberry, butternut squash and spinach salad on the feature menu today. The butternut squash was raw and hard, not roasted. Could not eat the squash, very disappointed.Also tried the brushetta, it was good.

It's really too bad, this place's cuisine is top notch for the area, but trying to place a carry-out order is like pulling teeth. They "recommend" placing an online order, however the app is fairly wonky with absolutely no option for delivery, you MUST pick it up. If the app doesn't allow for the order to be completed, trying to phone in an order is quite uncomfortable, as the staff really seem to take a condescending attitude toward any sort of phone-in customer accommodation. After wrestling with the terrible website ordering process for 15 minutes, I tried to call in a simple Veggie Nirvana pizza. I was put on hold for about 5 minutes and then treated with a fairly disrespectful attitude explaining how during the hours of 5pm and 7pm, we ask that our patrons use the online app to place the order... hold again... after a few minutes I just gave up. I'll call in an order to Brooklyn Pizza down the road, those guys LOVE money.

We have never been to this eatery and ot was a miserably wet and dreary day so decided to treat ourselves to something different. If you haven't been here, you are in for a treat. Everything was great from the service to the food. The entire experience was amazing. The bruschetta is light with just enough mozzarella and balsamic to balance the tomatoes. The rueben was delicious with generous portions of corned beef and sauerkraut. The local burger with bacon onion jam and just the right amount of goat cheese. Finally, the dessert. We had the most amazing carrot cake. Just the right amount of spice and frosting that wasn't too thick or sickly sweet..it was moist and delicious. Excellent place, fresh, delicious...Parking: There is a parking lot beside the building- there may be a front spot but backing out in traffic could be difficult...use the lot get some steps.

Great farm-to-table restaurant if you’re in the area! Our waitress was FANTASTIC and was very tentative to our needs. The price was pretty reasonable and the lemon chicken was absolutely delicious! I will be back the next time I’m in the area.

Local Roots never disappoints, the food is always delicious and the staff is helpful. Whether it is lunch or dinner my husband and I always enjoy ourselves. On occasion we have sat at the bar because we forgot to make reservations and I was surprised how pleasant that was: the atmosphere was friendly but professional. Enjoy your meal.

This place was awesome...highly recommend! From the mouth watering baby back ribs I had to the incredible lemon chicken which my daughter thoroughly enjoyed to the incredibly tasty salmon my wife had this restaurant truly earned 5 stars. The food was only surpassed by the fantastic server, DAVIS...if you are lucky enough to have him as your waiter, I am sure you will agree. Do yourself a favor, GO TO LOCAL ROOTS SOON!

Food is great, service seems to be lacking of late. I recently experienced a hostess that was annoyed I didn't want to sit bar seating because I was alone. Then she tried to put me at a table near the entrance facing a wooden wall. I got up and left. If I order from them I prefer curbside service until they get their house in order.
