First time here and the food was great. We had the hunan chicken- tender with a rich spicy sauce, tasty general tso chicken with carrots/veggies (which I loved instead of broccoli), and perfectly cooked egg rolls. Friendly staff too! Thank you

I went yesterday for lunch with my husband, daughter, and infant. We almost didn’t go to this location because the reviews were mixed, but we had a great experience. We brought a collapsible baby chair that connects to tables, but I saw they have high chairs if needed, which is nice. My daughter got the kids meal Hawaiian chicken and it was a HUGE amount of food. We let her eat it all because this was a special treat and it didn’t seem fair to take away half of her food, but it was easily an adult portion. It’s essentially sweet and sour chicken (breaded and fried white meat chicken) with some chunks of pineapple added, and that fire-engine sweet red sauce on the side for dipping. So not very healthy. Both my husband and I wished it wasn’t fried and the portion had been smaller, because that is a ton of fat/carbs/calories for a kiddo, but I wouldn’t classify this as a negative. I put this on us for not asking for details about the meal prior to ordering, and I’d say most people would consider large protons to be a positive. They also offer “ABC” chicken as a kids meal, next time we will ask what this is and hope it is a non-fried option with some veggies. All of the food was fresh and delicious. My husband ordered gang pang chicken and I got the cashew chicken. The price for all three meals including drinks was just over $25. The main reason for me writing a review today is because of my own food. I chose cashew chicken because there was a picture showing it in a white sauce. When it came out it was in a brown sauce. I can’t have soy sauce, and explained the reason I chose the dish was because of the photo showing it in a white sauce. Without hesitation they made me a new dish with white sauce. I offered to pay (I could have asked for clarification when ordering so I felt this was my fault) but she refused to let me pay and provided the re-made dish for free. I consider this to be really excellent customer service. And the food itself was delicious, I would rank it up with other cashew chickens I have paid 1.5x the price for. Other positive notes: The place has a good customer turnover so I think ingredients are used up quickly which contributes to the food being fresh. The place was bright and clean, tables all clean, bathroom was updated and clean. So not only was the food fresh and delicious but it was also a pleasant environment to eat. We will be back.

This is my favorite place to get Chinese food. The spicy orange chicken with added string bean and broccoli is my favorite. Always has a very strong flavorful aroma that makes my mouth water! This place is amazing and the service is top tier, max wait time is 15mins!!

I ordered the Mongolian beef. The rice and onions were awesome. The beef tasted old, like it had been sitting in the fridge for a week after they cooked it.

Best fast Chinese food around for an affordable price.

Tried this for the first time tonight. The chicken fried rice was not good and tasted like soy sauce. The General Tao's Chicken and the Honey Orange Chicken was not crispy at all and had a real mushy texture. Both chicken dishes lacked flavor. The egg rolls were just ok but were very oily. I will not order again!

I ordered a to go order but was given an in-house order they then put it in a container and dumped it all together and tried to give it to me I refused to take it and walk out. I lost my money will not be returning to this restaurant even though the food is really good I have told all of my friends to eat there or not to eat there anymore because of the horrible service that they are giving you

The little girl running the cash register is the best part of the dining here. Although she may not even have her permanent upper incisors yet, she ran that register better than most CPA’s I know. The food is not bad for this price-point… But there are better Asian restaurants further south on Sawmill (near Hard Rd).The Chicken String Bean was Excellent, and I ordered it Extra Spicy, and it did not disappoint. The Spring Roll was also very good and flavorful, though a little heavy for a Spring Roll. The Sweet & Sour Dipping Sauce was also very tangy and flavorful and really went well with the spring roll. The Hot & Sour Soup however, was very disappointing. It had way too much beef bullion flavor to it, and was extremely salty, I couldn’t even finish it. And, I love salty foods.

Have had New China in the past and enjoyed it. Went online to order, but the website is so unfriendly and there does not seem to be a way to add anything to a cart, despite the fact there is a "Proceed to Checkout" button. Decided to call and place my order. On the first call, no one answered and the mailbox was full. Called two more times after that and still no answer. Wish I could review the food, but since I couldn't order it I won't be able to.

The pandemic has changes a lot of things and been a real drain in general. On top of staying at home and cooking a lot more, we found that several of or long standing 'go to' Asian food restaurants were fading in quality, and the ones that were still strong were a bit to far to drive to and from for takeout. So I got on the old interwebs and looked. For so lace new to try that was close by. Went through two pages of yelp suggestions and none looked promising. Finally came to this place. I had seen it a few times in the past, but never looked in. Saw the reviews and thought that this might be. Winner hidden in plain sight. So we picked. Number of dishes and put in an order and all I can say is that I was completely impressed. Hot and Sour soup: Imperial Garden had the best version in Columbus imho until they closed. This version had the same deep brown base. It was lighter on the 'sour' and heavier on the 'hot'. The heat was surprising and complex. I will certainly get it again. Steamed dumplings: 35 years ago at a family owned place in Cali called Yangs Happy Family, I had the best dumplings and dipping sauce I have ever had. To this day it remains the dish I would eat over any other I have ever had from any cuisine. Since then I have tried the dumplings from every Chinese restaurant we have patronize, in every state, for 35 years, and experienced the Long March of disappointment. So I took my first bite with zero hope. While these are note as good as Yangs, they are so much closer than any others I have tried that I sat for a minute after my first bite an lingered on the old familiar flavor. The filling is just about as good, just the dipping sauce needed some garlic and ginger and some heat as compared to Yangs. Next order, I may just get some soup and two orders of these (16 dumplings) and make them a meal. plump, with lots of filling and a great flavor. Sesame Shrimp, Sesame Chicken, General Tsos Chicken: My son would only go to Imperial Garden for Chinese and only eat their Sesame Chicken and Dumplings. Even though he would eat them and, and I judged each to be pretty good, he would never say they were better than ok. He had the Sesame Chicken AND Sesame Shrimp AND dumplings And ate them all and declared each to be 'really good'. You don't realize how high that praise is coming from him. Tsos is what I get first anywhere as it is a barometer of a place. It was quite good, nice amount of breading, nice chunks of chicken. Chicken Lo Mein: Light mild favors, perfectly cooked noodles and chicken, and no oiliness that can detract from so many restaurant's versions. Portions: Generous Price: Reasonable Is this the ace we will be getting all off our Chinese food moving forward : absolutely.
