“Charming old world home with Sicilian brick oven! The team was wonderful and very friendly. I travel frequently and always seek out small brick oven pizza's to try. I am excited to say that this is now my new favorite! The ingredients were fresh and plentiful and the crust is outstanding! It is an easy walk from Newport Aquarium, which means I will be going again and again. The cannoli pie is a great way to finish up the meal and will not disappoint. The owners were there and engaging and so welcoming!“
“This is our favorite place. The food is awesome. The gnocchi is incredible. Sam is a great waiter. Wednesday wine night is perfect. Oh yeah forget your diet tonight. Get the bread then the donuts for dessert. Yeah donuts. You can trust me. I'm not like the others.“
“Overall we had a wonderful meal at Rosie's. The salmon oreganata was delicious- perfectly cooked salmon, tender and flavorful. My husband had the rigatoni vodka. The pasta was cooked well and sauce had pleasant warmth from the chilis. We also had the crispy potatoes which were also quite good. Everything was portioned well and we're both full by the end (still had room for a scoop of vanilla gelato though- definitely recommend). We will be adding Rosie's to our rotation of Cincy date nights.“
“Dining in with a Stromboli. Bringing it to the table took a few minutes, because it was cooked for me. And it tasted delicious. The cup of marinara was the perfect size (and perfect taste). This isn't high-brow Italian. This is GOOD Italian. I'll be back.Parking: Hundreds of parking spaces available.“
“First time visiting shortly after a Friday opening prior to lunch and they're already busy. Sat at bar. Available tap beers are from local breweries. Had a pint in warm glass as they do not chill or freeze glasses. New York style pizza was great tasting first couple of bites in then you're left will a lot of chewy crust. Not enough toppings or cheese. Wish they gave option for edge-to-edge toppings as the crust flavor blends excellent with the toppings. Parmesan fries are top notch as for an appetizer had a kids meal which includes production cheese sticks - will pass next time. No option for hot pizza sauce unless you order meatball sauce which is unique. The building interior is art deco style from the 1930's and I really like the creative decor within including the Subway restrooms with public announcements, nice touch! Only interacted with bartender and manager both we very professional and seemed to really care about the customer which led to an overall pleasant experience. Highly recommend. Be warned parking is tough and long waiting times to be expected during peak times. Looking forward to try there outdoor seating once weather warms.Photo shows their large pizza with a lot of open space...“
“Best pizza in Cincinnati. We ordered margherita and hawaiian pizzas, and they were both perfect. Il Gusto pizza is ultra thin and crispy with high quality ingredients. The margherita especially was fantastic, and even my young children loved it.The greek salad was fresh with a house made dressing. We wished there were whole kalamata olives, but it was still delicious.“
“Wow! This is by far the best NYC pizza I’ve had! The first bite and I already felt like I was back In Brooklyn eating at corner spot. The garlic breads are also an amazing side, and the ranch is perfect. Also I love that they sell by the slice as an option as well! I believe I met the owner Jim inside as well and him and his staff are such cool people! Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.“
“Wow! I had my first pizza on Friday and reordered on Sunday. So good! The Crust.. oh my goodness the CRUST! Toppings are fresh and local, the crust is chewy and crispy, absolutely fantastic! Also the customer service is 5 ⭐️! I ordered for pickup on Sunday around close and the site scheduled it for the next day and I didn’t finish processing that before I got a call from the owner and they asked if I wanted it for tonight or tomorrow and was SO accommodating, so polite and understanding. It’s a new level of customer service. I’m a new customer but they have made a customer for life! Thank you!“
“Was pleasantly surprised with the small, but quaint local place. The staff and owners were very friendly and the pizza was fantastic. We enjoyed the Bellevue and the Chardonnay pizza and a big shout out too for the homemade dressings with both the Caesar and Caprese salads.“
“After a few disappointing visits to "best holiday brunch" spots we decided to check out someplace under the radar - our radar at least. I am a sucker for Italian food and Via Vite was having an Easter Sunday Brunch Buffet. Seems like a no brainer to me. We placed our reservations on Open Table and were charged a 50% hold fee for the reservation. With so many people no-showing on reservations these days, this makes sense to me. We arrived just before our time and were quickly shown to our table. The server was prompt and before you know it, we were heading for food. The buffet was not large, but if the items were good, there's no need for volume. Quality over quantity every day. The food was exceptional for holiday meal. The pasta and gnocchi dishes were fresh and tasty. The breakfast dishes were excellent. Fresh scrambled eggs, not powdered eggs. The French toast was made with Italian bread with added an unexpected and pleasant twist to the classic breakfast item. The bacon was butcher cut and perfectly chewy - at least perfect for me. I know some people like it crunchy. There was also roasted strip steak, carved on demand, and perfect little desert cups. The menu said salmon, but I did see it, maybe I missed it. It doesn't matter, I was highly satisfied. We will return. My only real complaint has ZERO to do with the restaurant, the parking at Fountain Square was $9, flat rate. NINE DOLLARS for 90 minutes. I thought the purpose of 3CDC was to support businesses within the CBD and OTR. Over priced parking will deter people from coming downtown for something less formal. If you want to grab lunch say at CityBird, the parking will cost you more than a sandwich. Nonsense.“
“I had sold the City Saver App to a friend of mine. He told me that he and his wife came to Ali's for dinner to use the coupon. He was SO pleased with the food. He ordered the mushroom burger. He was impressed with the blends of meat and that you make your own patties. They never knew your restaurant existed if they hadn't had the App. He said they would definitely go back.“
“Great pizza and phenomenal people! The people are very personable and a pleasure to talk with. Some of the best pizza I've had throughout Ohio, Kentucky, and west Virginia. The cookies and canolis are fantastic as well! Definitely worth a visit, you won't be disappointed!“
“The food is always great here you can get pizzas, hoagies and even spaghetti. You can get different types of hoagies such as hoagies with mushroom sauce or pizza sauce or just a hoagie with pizza sauce and cheese . I have got food here for many years. You will really like this place and their foodWheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp that can take you up to the door to get in.“
“Awesome pizza and awesome service! Unfortunately tonight there was a situation with a very rude customer who was making it very difficult for the employees to help everyone. However, the employees that night handled it beautifully. Shoutout to Brandon who handled the situation greatly, defending both his coworkers and customers when they were being berated at by the unnerved customer. This was an awesome place and would definitely come back when I’m in the area again :)“
“Went around 5pm on a Sunday, parking was absolutely packed but we were seated immediately inside. Outside patio had a wait of around an hour, but we could still enjoy the view from our table next to the windows. Service was good and the prices are about standard for a restaurant like this. Food was enjoyable, I had a burger and my girlfriend had a chicken sandwich and both tasted great. I also enjoyed the fries and the Chipotle coleslaw which was a good touch to both meals.“
“Best damn pizza in the tristate area. I've never had a bad experience, and I always regret not getting multiple pies at a time. Amazing crust, fresh sauce and not overly greasy like a lot of other places around here. A bit expensive but it's worth it, I promise.“
“Had dinner at Subito on Saturday night and Gina’s service was exceptional. I was there with two girlfriends, and she provided great recommendations and was a pleasure to talk to. The Short Rib Campanelle was awesome. The food / wine and atmosphere were good and we really enjoyed ourselves, but Gina made our experience.“
“The gluten free pizza was amazing! Our server was really nice and recommended some amazing things.Dietary restrictions: They have a gluten free pizza crust.Kid-friendliness: They provide a kid's menu and crayons, and have a fun atmosphere that kids enjoy.“
“Went on 2/10/24. We had a blast. The service was great, the food out of this world, and the atmosphere welcoming. I got the chicken wrap, and it never disappoints. My husband got the calzone, and loved it.We were laughing a LOT but the servers were nice about it. We were having a great time.We are from central Kentucky and go to Newport a couple times a year for a getaway.Stop in and get yourself some great food and great service!“
“What a charming place! The food here is absolutely delicious. I particularly enjoy the sausages and mashed potatoes; they blend together in perfect harmony. I hope more people discover this hidden gem for German cuisine ?????Kid-friendliness: So lovely that the waiter gave our kid an ice cream ?“
“One of the best places to go for dinner in the Cincinnati area. Great service, pasta is incredible, and I highly recommend the braised short rib. Good options for vegetarians also. Only slight down side is the dining area feels congested wrt how close tables are to each other.“
“Me and my dad went here before going to the Cincinnati FC soccer game. We were recommended this place on reddit and it did not disappoint. We got the eggplant stack and shared a Detroit style spinach pizza. Highly recommend if you want to get some great pizza in downtown Cincinnati.“
“Food is unbelievable good, Might be some of the best Mac and Cheese, mash potatoes that I've ever had.. The cod was perfectly cook still juicy on the inside. The apple cobbler was amazing not all sugared up could actually taste all the apples. And the girl at the counter extremely friendly, and helpful, even the guys behind the counter were friendly. If I ould give them 10 stars I would!! I will be back soon and often. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!“
“It's been more than 4 years since I've been here. I wasn't impressed back then, which is why I hadn't returned until now. NOW, it is a fantastic place to chill. I loved our pizza. The staff was very friendly. Prices are reasonable. Plenty of parking. I'll be back soon. Thanks for the fantastic transformation. Somebody knows what they are doing. It reminds me of the Mount Adams Bar and Grill without lots of collectibles on the walls. (Hint, I like collectibles...imagine Newtown's history.)Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza was fantastic.Parking: Lots of parking in the back!“
“We did a pick up, but even that the staff checked on us several times to make sure we were taken care of and you can view the kitchen. My son found it amazing watching them throw pizza dough. Most importantly, the food was incredible! They also offer gluten-free options for, some people in my family who need that.“
“So, unlike every other Cincinnatian, I have mixed feelings on the pizza. It's definitely very yummy! But it doesn't blow me away. HOWEVER the jalapeño poppers are literally to die for. They are some of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. Especially when they have jus the right amount of heat, with a crispy shell on the outside. Sometimes I go here just to get the poppers after a long day. The servers and hosts are always friendly. What makes this 4 stars for me is I just don't love bars or restaurants with this type of vibe. It isn't my preference. But if you do like more traditional American venues, I'm sure you will love it here.“
“We ordered takeout, and the food traveled ok.1. Garlic knots with cheese - great flavors, had we eaten there, I think the texture would have been better. (4/5 ?)2. New York style ?- this was pretty good it needed to be reheated, but that's expected of this style. Once reheated, it was pretty tasty slightly on the oily side. (4/5 ?)3. Steak hoagie - overall great flavors. However, the bun was a little soggy from the travel. I suspect if we had eaten as soon as prepared, it would have been better. (4/5 ?)Overall, it's a great pizza place we will be ordering again for the New York style pizza.“
“A great warm inviting speakeasy lounge industrial hybrid of a bar right above Goodfellas pizza shop. Grab a slice of pizza and a giant breadstick from below and head upstairs where they have incredible craft cocktails for reasonable prices in a very relaxed and inviting atmosphere with seating anywhere from couches to a classy bar to regular tables that can be pushed together to accommodate larger groups and an outdoor space! The bartenders are always extremely kind, knowledgeable, and great at crafting serious drinks of any sort. We love coming here for low key quality drinks and a quiet warm atmosphere with a touch of leather and wood and class to the air!“
“This is one of the best pizzas you can get in Cincinnati! Fresh ingredients and I am allergic to pizza sauce so I get garlic butter brushed on the crust. Other pizza joints won't do that for you, but Italianette has NEVER questioned my request. ❤️❤️❤️“
“Absolutely love having Catch-a-Fire Pizza in Westwood and particularly at West Side Brewing. It is really great having a food option daily right in the taproom and the menu is great. The pizza, wings, Knotty Bread, and ranch are all delicious. We have eaten in the taproom and we have also taken our order across the street with DORA drinks to Town Hall Park.Convenient (open daily starting at noon—11a on Saturdays!), delicious, and very happy to have Catch-a-Fire in the neighborhood.“
“I’ve always been a huge fan of MadTree and was sad to see their old food go, but the new kitchen is somehow even better! They have even more options now. The new pizza is delicious. I also tried the guacamole and it was very fresh. Staff was also very helpful! 10/10“
“At $18 for a medium pizza, you have to expect it to be really good. Pizza is alright but not amazing. Pies and Pints did a better and cheaper White Pie than the new Philly Cheesesteak pizza. Will try again. Also, the 35 minute time quoted when ordering online was false; the pizza was nearly cold so it was done much earlier.Edit: the reply to this from the business was it was a delivery through DoorDash. It was not. It was a pickup order through their official Clover that gave me the 35 minute time. I picked it up at exactly 35 and ate it within 8 minutes lukewarm, so obviously it was done much prior, but Clover did not update me when it was done.“
“010624 - I was here for a private party, about 30 people I guess. This was my 1st time & when I looked at the menu online I really wasn't thrilled about going. Well, I was wrong, everything was fantastic. We had meatballs, cheezy flat bread, pizza & wings, all were great. The service was slow, but, I think there was only 1 young lady serving our group. I'm not sure if she had other guests as well. Drink prices are very high in my opinion. A tall mich ultra draft is $6.50, a 12 oz yuengling was $6. Parking is also a problem, very limited & tight. Most of the employees were friendly. After everything, bottom line, I would go back.“
“First time but it won’t be our last. Great pizza from the crust light thin enough to hold the toppings light enough to reach for another slice. The sauce very flavorful and not overpowering. The cheese has an excellent pull where you would need to use a fork and a knife till it cools. I give it 5 stars.“
“This place was very good. One of my favorite things was that for the kids they had a paper table cover they could draw on with crayons. The staff was very friendly and our server was very attentive. We got a cheese deep dish, a sausage deep dish, some pepperoni French bread pizza for my son and lasagna with garlic bread for my daughters friend. All of it was very good but the sausage deep dish was out of this world. We spent about $75 plus tip on it. The price is the only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars but it is worth it to go here every now and then. I'll definitely be back.Parking: Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: They have crayons and paper table cloth the kids can draw on.Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible“
“Just found out that they closed to remodel. The store really needed it. I am 76 years old and have been coming to Chester's ever since I was around 12 years old. Lived in Loveland, Ohio and now reside in Goshen Ohio. It is always worth the drive. Best pizza in Cincinnati and Hamilton.“
“Our Adult Reading Book Club met here. This was everyone's first time visiting this location. Great food, great atmosphere and excellent service. We are looking forward to returning for our Ladies night out. Marty's house salad and the Adult grilled cheese, are worth the purchase.“
“Our family has always loved Dewey’s!! In the past year though the pizzas seem underdone when we’ve gotten them at the restaurant or done carry out…it makes us question now whether the price difference ($24-$28 for a Dewey’s vs $10-12 for a “chain pizza” ) is worth it! We love the service…top notch always; atmosphere is great; it’s really the pizza that has maybe changed…maybe a new cooking method?? Just being transparent!!“
“Excellent pizza and fairly good service. Not the most friendly of people working the counter when I've visited, but certainly not rude. The atmosphere is definitely old school pizza joints from back in the day. Definitely a must visit for this side of town. Get their Big Gripp Pizza!“
“First time here and wow! Pleasantly surprised by the food, atmosphere, and the service. The chefs in the kitchen all wear comically oversized hats! I got a calzone and it was HUGE! Very tasty with a side of yummy marinara (not like the sweet stuff larosas has). Reasonably priced and good drinks!“
“Amazing pizza! We were in Cincinnati fir a conference and LARosas was with walking distance of our hotel. fantastic choice! their pizza was phenomenal and very reasonably priced. they even let us split a pie with two of their special pizzas....the Buddy and the Florentine Focaccia. So good! definitely recommend.“
“We stopped in for lunch on Sunday. There were 4 of us, and we all chose something different so we could share. The pizza was delicious, perfect crust and flavorful toppings. The Appetizers were so good, next time I will have one of everything. Go, don't wait for tomorrow,..?“
“The pricing on slices just doesn't make sense - $11 for two thin crust slices and a drink. Jet's has 2 deep dish slices and a drink for $6.50. You can get full pizzas for $10 places. In expensive New York that they're mimicking, slices are about $3 but a suburb in Ohio has pepperoni at $5/slice. Maybe Ramundo's is claiming they are far superior than the others, but still the slice pricing is offputting. Solid taste so still 4-stars.“
“Went in on a Saturday with my wife and sat at the bar. They were just finishing up a rush but the bartender Jonathan took excellent care of us. He was clearly overworked when we sat down but took our drink order and got them to us very quickly (the Old Fashioned way amazing). I ordered pizza, my wife the Reuben, both good, pizza was better. We will definitely go back soon.“
“Extremely friendly and prompt staff. I got the special that they offer every day which is $10 for 2 slices of pizza, a salad and a fountain drink. They have a new marinara sauce recipe and new dough recipe, both are delicious. Definitely will be back.“
“You can go anywhere for a beer, but it's a lot harder to find one with the key ingredient that makes a beer so special. It's not water, or barley, or hops. It's community. And to me, that is what MPH is all about-- sharing great beer in great company. Love this place!“
“I dig a gyro it use to be all men and there ora was no instructions until they understood the assignment and added a female me personally I like my gyro separate so I try not to make waves , but I still need to know who's meat is that? If it's a combination GOOD JOB but who's and why? and if it's on a Spit why do you slice it and cook it MORE ?“
“Ordered pick up pizza and breadsticks. Got the pepperoni in paradise. The food was good for the price although there weren't many pepperonis on the pizza. Pizza was ready when I arrived 20 minutes after ordering. I would go again to eat inside.“
“Everything was delicious! Apps, salad and pizza! Cocktails were tasty and the wine menu is superb! Will definitely be back! We enjoyed a fun girls night out and shared everything we ordered - we loved the Cacio E Pepe, Caesar and another salad (not sure which one it was), and we ordered a variety of 3 pizzas - pepperoni Diavola - both great but my favorite was Funghi, Excellent service! Such a nice time!“
“Had an issue with the app on a fairly busy Friday night. They honored the coupon and got my order done with a quickness. They were business like but friendly. And they saved my skin with dinner as I walked in door! ( btw: the thin crust meat pizza is the best around). Priced better than most. Domino's has been improving over the last 4 years. Thank youParking: The parking can be very tight if there are more than 3 cars in lot. I had a hard time backing out of odd anglled spot. Just pay attention if busy!“
