The young lady sat looking through the kitchen window talking to the cook/co worker as I stood there waiting to pick up my food until I put my hand on my hip and made stern eye contact and said hello in a sarcastic way!! So needless to say the service could be a lil better. The atmosphere looks nice, but is always dusty which is why I never dine in. But the food is delish!

Food is absolutely, insanely good!2/15/24- Place has been sold and now the food is complete garbage....and I mean literal garbage. It's almost embarrassing to walk in that place now. I don't understand why the old owner didn't make them change the name! Whoever owns it now has completely destroyed the name! It ain't Cajun Island anymore, it's Garbage Island! So sad, food was so good before!

This place is a definition of a hole in the wall about to close . First the online price said 20,we get in the door he say it’s double 40 $ ok no problem $ The bathroom floors are disgusting like it has never been cleaned trash never emptied . Food taste like it’s been in the freezer.Who knows how long the crawl fish was not even edible barely no sauce food dry with 0 flavor.This place is a complete waste.Anyone that says this is good never ate anything good before complete trash . ? The sausage taste like grade F - . A parole board meal sums up everything in a nut ? shell for this place and setting.

Tiffany the barber is a great bartender and her service is excellent, everytime I go in there now I don’t even have to order a drink she already know what I like to drink and eat, she makes it a fun and relax place to come and eat and drinkKid-friendliness: If you lookin to come to a place to come get food and drink this is the place it’s excellent service, kid friendly
3/5/24. A Hidden Gem in Columbus. Amazing food. Probably best Cajun around Columbus. But it doesn't just start there, the staff treat u like a customer and with respect, there's no hatred here at all unlike other businesses. Amazing culture shock when you walk in , w all the old school items inside. As a wrecker driver I've ate at a lot of places. But I will honestly say this place is 10/10. Give it a try everyone and fellow tow truck drivers there is room to park ur tow truck on the side..
I was in Reynoldsburg yesterday and we stopped at the Cajun island. Food was fantastic, service was exceptional, and the people very friendly. Highly recommend this place and definitely recommend the blackened chicken yummmmm.
