“Awesome pizza. Enjoyed 2 pies, a 16in deluxe and pierogi pizza, a little undercooked and floppy on the bottom of the pizza for my likings however it was overall fantastic. Wish it was a little more affordable, $25ea for the 16in pies i got. The box of jojos were on point and some of the best fried potatoes ive had. Order was ready in estimated time for pickup. “The food and service were excellent. The chicken Parmesan was outstanding, and so were the meatballs for an appetizer. We made reservations at the last minute, but next time will try to make them several days ahead, to get better seating. We were seated outside in the enclosed area in the front of the restaurant. It felt a little like sitting in a fishbowl because the tables ran alongside the front windows of the restaurant. Other than that, it was a great meal and we will be back.“
“I only have one complaint. We have been calling this place for two days between my girlfriend and me. We have made 20 calls, when the phone ring it would just be music even called the operator to see if there was something wrong with the line. Finally my friend went up there to check and they’re closed until April 15, I wish they would’ve respected their customers enough to have had a message on their machine saying such. “Pizza was phenomenal, I ordered a small personal pepperoni pizza, and honestly, it was as good as personal pizza gets. It is CASH ONLY so bring your dead presidents! I made the mistake of not having any cash on me and ownership told me to still take my pizza, eat it, enjoy it, and come back later or tomorrow to pay. Between the claimed time and quality, I wasn't sure if it could match those claims. Fortunately I was proven wrong and it exceeded expectations. “I had ordered my burger medium rare. When it came out it was rare IMO. So I sent it back. Francesca, our server couldn’t have been nicer about it. I had taken two bites before I decided I just couldn’t do it. I told her to nuke it a minute and it would be perfect. They completely redid the burger, bringing a new one out. I couldn’t believe they did that. A lot of places just send you the same product out, and usually overcooked. ?. Not in this case. Francesca couldn’t have been nicer and more attentive. The burger and fries were awesome. You could tell it was made from fresh ground beef and not some preformed frozen patties. The toppings were all fresh and packed high. I had to mash the heck out of it to get it in my mouth. The fries were awesome as well. Done just right. My wife’s burger was cooked to perfection. “Having driven by this place for years, I finally got the chance to try it when Winking Lizard had a long wait recently. It was much better than I expected based on the outside appearance. For starters, the interior was immaculately clean, well lit and nicely laid out. Our server was wonderful and the food was all hot, fresh and delicious. As a bonus, there are plenty of TVs and we were able to watch a Texas football game even though Ohio State had a game at the same time. Surprisingly we preferred the not fresh sliced fries. “Tried out Zeppe’s for Sunday football game last Sunday. Ordered their Sunday special. 1XL pepperoni pizza with 1lbs boneless wings. I added pepperoni rolls as well. I ordered an online pick up order an hour and a half in advance. We went to pick it up on time and they were still finishing our pepperoni rolls. Once they were done, they realized they made a sausage pizza instead of a pepperoni, which they offered to remake. Overall 30min of waiting time in a crowded space didn’t impress us.After our poor initial experience, and unhappy review, Zeppe’s GM and store manager both reached out to us on our experience. Rather than give us the run around, they asked us to give them a second chance to make up for it. They have definitely redeemed themselves and more. We went with the family meal with a honey hot pizza, linguine with homemade meatballs, garlic twists and a salad. (Photos included) We were big fans of the honey hot pizza, and the meatballs were delicious! The pan pizza has a nice, thick crust, with a good crunch on the bottom and a pillowy center; it usually has plenty of sauce and cheese, and they have really good prices for it ($12 for a large pepperoni!). Their garlic cheese bread is a necessary addition, and get a bunch of marinara sauce to dip everything in, I would inject that stuff directly into my veins if I could.
