I was in for the Easter brunch and had a great experience with our server Liz. She is always welcoming, prompt, and fun. The culinary staff making the omelettes were friendly and skilled and the food was excellent. Thanks to all of you!

Went for Easter brunch with 10 family and friends. While not as extensive a menu as some restaurants, there were plenty of choices and everything was good! The staff was friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable. Although I am a bad judge as I tend to eat my weight at buffets!

What an awful dinner experience Friday night 3/22/2024 and the restaurant was not busy. Service was bad along with the food we waited for almost 1 hour. I thought if you order soup, that would come out before the dinner. How Long should you wait for a beer? I thought our mattress would have come back to us to apologize for the delay.

There were 6 of us and put us near the patio that's closed, bird crap everywhere!! Our food..not so good. Waiter was very nice and took one of the meals off the bill. Alfredo sauce very bland..halibut was very dry. Sorry.. not returning again.

Ordered corned beef and cabbage sandwich with fries dinner. The picture even shows a sandwich with fries. When I got home and opened the boxes, there was no bread, no fries, and the corned beef was extremely dry and tough. The only edible part was the cabbage and carrots. Very disappointed.

Come here if you are ok with limited glassware, running out of basic ingredients, no silverware with dinner, no condiments for your fries and slow service.

Making a reservation was easy, a lot of availability for a Saturday evening and now I know why. There were 2 tables with people (included ours) and our server took a very long time just for water refills and delivering our orders. When our food came out, everything was cold.. not even a little warm from the lights while it waits on the expo line. We told our server and she just said “I'll tell the back” and nothing else. We also ordered espresso martinis that were awful (they don't use espresso so don't waste your money on them). We told the server nothing was good and we didn't get anything in exchange for this awful food. Just a 200+ dollar bill. When we told her to split the check and how to split it, she got it completely wrong. We were fed up and just wanted to leave. Definitely never going back. Burnt wood used to be one of my favorites, but now it is actually awful.

Halibut was breaded and fried. Never do that. It's too expensive to make it that way. The first one was burned. (Is that why it's called Burntwood Tavern?). Lobster sauce was something out of a Chinese place. Filet mignon was not 6 oz, more like 4 oz. It was cooked to order however. I ordered sweet potato fries and the roasted veggies. Got the fries but also the Yukon Gold potatoes. So two kinds of potatoes. Somebody dropped the ball there. I could have asked why but we waited a very long time. This was over $100 meal. Would like a refund for $50 at least.

The customer service here sucks. Now I understand why this location has 4 stars and dropping. The waiters and bartenders hate their jobs, and will have you waiting upwards of 30 minutes before you’re even acknowledged. But I will give credit where credit is due, and that is in regard to the atmosphere. The atmosphere deserves five stars, and by atmosphere, I’m talking about the ambience, not the attitudes of the workers.

Service was horrible, the waitress had no clue what was on the menu. We asked what type of soups they had and she said we have some gumbo left over from Marti Gras (which was a couple weeks earlier !). When I mentioned the Lobster bisque, she said - Oh yeah we have that too. We had calamari as an appetizer, and it comes with marinara sauce and a type of white sauce. We asked the waitress for some cocktail sauce and we were told - "WE don't have any". What Restaurant doesn't have cocktail sauce? We ordered a "bowl" of lobster bisque to share. It comes in a tiny crock, which is slightly bigger than a cup, but wouldn't be considered a "bowl". When we asked the Waitress to confirm if we had a cup or a bowl, she said - "that's the only size we have" The lobster bisque was good, but it would have been better served in a larger bowl. The special was parmesan encrusted halibut. Sounds great, but when it was served it was deep fried and came out like a lead brick. Nowhere on the specials menu did it say it was deep fried. We never send food back, but that dish was not fit for consumption. The waitress was very inattentive, and went missing for long periods of time. The place has a nice patio and a great bar. In the future I'm eating at the bar.

It started out kind of slow, but Casey (who was also the bartender) ended up as our server. She was attentive, friendly, entertaining-made all the difference in our dining experience!
