The food was outstanding. Calamari was superb, and the wedge salad is the best around. Definitely enjoyed the pork chop. Perfectly prepared, seasoned and was fork tender. Will order again, and make the hour drive to visit. Eileen, our server was phenomenal! We will request her again. And the dirty martini…A+. This is a gem in the heart of Rocky River, and Cleveland in general.
Food was not good at all and very overpriced for the presentation and flavor. Calamari appetizer was the worst calamari I've ever had. Blackened walleye tasted like it only had pepper poured all over it and was cooked over done. 1st and last time dining here!Party of 10 and no one was happy with their meals!

Ferris never lived up to expectations. The previous steak house to occupy the site -- Rockport -- was the epitome of a classic '60s restaurant: low lighting, live piano, stiff linen tablecloths and napkins, and gentlemen waiters. The Coquille Saint-Jacques entree was creamy, savory, and filled with scallops. An old-world relaxing dining experience. When Ferris took over we wanted to give it a try. We might as well have gone to Dave & Busters. The atmosphere was "modern" and full of hard surfaces that amplified the noise from the nearby table of frat boys. All that was missing were big screen TVs blaring sports. It is not intimate dining. Service was mundane and the food was immemorable for the premium prices. It wasn't worth the expense.

For the price we paid, we expected more quality. $40 for a filet that is chewy is not a good value. The service was great.

Service was great, but I was disappointed with the selection on the menu. There were multiple items listed on the menu online, but those were not available when we ate. My wife enjoyed her meal.

Ordered a filet with mashers as a takeout. The meat smelled like it wasn't fresh. Bernaise had a good flavor though. Tiny steak with a huge blob of mashers. The mashers also had an odd smell/flavor but they were both in the same container so maybe it just picked up the juices from the old meat.

This is by far, with service and food alone. One of the best steakhouses in the area. The attention to detail. The freshness of the food. The owner who is not afraid to get dirty.Make it a point to come to Ferris. You won't regret it.

Betty was our server. She was very attentive and pleasant. She was familiar with the menu and gave us some good recommendations. The food was awesome! Cooked exactly the way we wanted. It did not take a long time to get our order. It was our first time there and we will be back.

I can’t say enough great things about Ferris Steak House! The food is incredible and the service unparalleled. I’ve eaten here for the past three years and always have the such an enjoyable experience. The calamari is my favorite appetizer, and the lemon raspberry drop cocktail is perfect for those who enjoy the sweeter things. The steak is melt-in-your-mouth, especially the Delmonico.Special shout-out to the A+ servers, including Ilene, Betty, and Christine. The bartenders Matt and Victoria never fail to craft delicious drinks.Easy 5 stars!

Service and atmosphere is great. We were disappointed in our meal, especially for the price. The steaks were good, but not great. The scallops were tasty but were a bit underdone, the salad was uninspired, the fries and the shrimp tasted like they were from the freezer. The dessert was really good, but the plating was just ok. The meal felt lazy for the money. We never mind spending whatever for our food. But you just want to feel it was worth it. Too bad, but overall we had a nice night out.

Our server, Betty, was absolutely amazing. They didn't have a drink that my friend would like, she offered suggestions and between her and bartender created a perfect cocktail for her. She was very attentive and made our celebration even better!
