Mitchell’s Ice Cream is a perfect place to spend an evening. Their ice cream is always fresh and the staff is always friendly and helpful. If you do not know what to order, they will provide you with samples to help you decide. I highly recommend the banana ice cream, or the butter pecan. They seem to have something for everyone here. They also have plenty of seating. If you are in the area take time to stop and enjoy this Rocky River staple.

Great everything every time we walk, bike, or drive to this location! Thanks for always having friendly faces and the best ice cream ever. Also love how many vegan flavors they’re adding as that covers on both vegan needs and those with lactose intolerance! 2-in-1.Only complaint to Mitchell’s overall is tiramisu should be a year round flavor but no need to doc points for that!! ?
They have finally added more vegan flavors and they’re absolutely delicious. I don’t know if this one is seasonal, but I highly suggest the vegan buckeye ice cream, for those who are or are not dairy-free/vegan alike! Very decadent and smooth without being overly rich.

This was always my favorite ice cream shop due to it's outstanding shakes. However sometime during covid they switched the milk from Hartzler's to Smiths, at first I thought maybe just a bad batch then I kept going and coming out disappointed in the lack of creaminess. Then I saw them use a different milk. Needless to say I still buy Mitchell's ice cream tubs from the grocery store then make my own at home; which is better but just not the same as going out for a nice shake.
