We ordered pick up for lunch. It wasn't a complicated order, but they forgot some of it. We got charged but didn't get everything. We didn't realize until we got home.

Beautiful interior and lighting.Large portions. Always fresh, always hot. Chicken Soba also had vegetables included.The Crab Rangoon was even packaged attractively. Large pieces.

I had good service before but today it wasn't so good I ordered the wrong thing by mistake and they didn't even remove the food I ordered by mistake from the bill what I ordered was shrimp tempura appetizer but what I wanted was the shrimp tempura roll I did get that and they said that they would see if they can remove it the shrimp tempura appetizer from the bill but they didn't remove it the bill. I was in there for like 2 hour's and waited like half hour for the food I understand if they were busy but I got there when they weren't even busy

this is the best place in salem to eat hands down. there was a very rude customer in front of us in line who was being so mean for no reason and i just think you guys are wonderful. truly amazing and i cannot express how much i love the food and the people here! especially the beautiful lady i think is their manager! will always come back for more food!!❤️

Delicious food, in restaurant or take out. The one server didn't know anything about Asian food, so she wasn't the person to get advice from. Otherwise, awesome place!
Over an hour for pick up order and still no food. Noone can tell me anything or will. 5 door dash drivers waiting all have been there so long they unassigned their orders. Maybe 3 tables have customers so not even busy. I won't be back. Never ate here and never will try

An absolutely horrible experience. After traveling 3 hours to Salem, OH for a business meeting, an Oriental style dinner sounded good. I stopped at Sumo Steakhouse & Sushi since it was close to my hotel and placed a carryout order at 5:21pm per their receipt. I ordered a beef stirfry and was told it would take about 20 minutes, which seemed a little long. After 20 minutes I asked if my meal would be ready soon and was told yes. At 30 minutes I asked again and was told they were busy with DoorDash orders. Only 4 carryout orders came in while I was waiting and I counted about 16 diners in the restaurant. At 40 minutes after ordering I cancelled my order and demanded a refund at 6:02pm. No apology, no empathy, no concern expressed from the Sumo staff. If you want good, hot, oriental food in a timely manner you will NOT find it at Sumo in Salem, OH.
