The food and service we received was absolutely unacceptable. I would avoid this place at all cost. We could hear the owner in the back talking disrespectfully to our waitress the entire time we were there. The food was an absolute disaster. How it has more than one star is baffling.

I'm not trying to bash the taste. It's good but I could buy these same meatballs from GFS on sale 60 for 12.99. The pasta probably is similar. I like the sauce which I hope is authentic. I have no problem with bulk foods at your restaurant but I just spent $33 for a sing meal for what I could copy for my family at 1/3 of that.

A very nice small authentic family treasure to find right downtown. Very taste flavorful dishes and served HOT!, a must. Will let them serve my family dinner monthly going forward. Waitperson was so pleasant and Nice! A relaxing and fulfilling experience. ( But I agree with a prior review, NOT acceptable IF NO respect/raised voices; did NOT hear discord with our visit. )

Amarone is a must! The owner chef is a native of Rome whose authentic Italian cuisine is absolutely delicious. The Lasgna and Chicken Marsala were superb. We also enjoyed the house red and had a feathery tiramasu to finish.Go to Amarone for this restaurant in downtown Sandusky is a gem.

So we stumbled on this restaurant, and they were HUSTLING because the owner said no one showed up to work. Instead of closing on a Saturday night they did it themselves. Food was amazing and they worked their butts off. True Italians

They act like you are an inconvenience. while I was waiting for my food I heard what I believe to be the owner tell multiple customers that they are going to wait one hour for food so they should leave. the manicotti had NO cheese in it. sauce is not good. I also listened to them argue with parents over their child not being able to have egg. this place is horrible. avoid. the man yells at the woman a lot, you can hear them from the kitchen. 0/10. I usually don't complain but I would avoid.

Another carb loading meal. Also one walking distance from bnb and the pier. I would say solid Italian restaurant. The menu straight forward all basic classic dishes. They do daily specials besides menu. I like the family run business. Husband in the back cooking and wife was running the front. We started with Bruschetta for two. I enjoyed. Nice and refreshing. The bruschetta was delicious with nice size diced tomato, fresh, and combine with perfect toasted bread. Perfect balance crispy bread and fresh cut tomatoes. I got Spaghetti in meat sauce. Fan. The sauce nothing blow u away. Great taste! Nice portion size. Hearty. The perfect carb load of pasta. Service was fabulous. She was very attentive and friendly. Both grateful stopped by said thank u for coming in. Solid food and spot I would go back if do IMOhio 70.3 again.

I had a great meal here. Stopped on a whim. Food was delish, it’s family owned so service is slower than expected but well worth it. Veal parm, bruschetta and wine was great! Highly recommend.

Stumbled upon this quaint husband and wife run restaurant after a day at cedar point. Tried the gnocchi and the mushroom ravioli; both fresh and homemade. The gnocchi was amazing in the meat sauce. They also give you free bread, oil, and parmesan cheese.Service was a little slow that night however, it's owned by a husband and wife team who make everything homemade and freshest ingredients.

The restaurant was small but nice. The tables were all "well dressed" giving it a fancier feel. The service was good. My food was very good, but my son said his was ok. I would definitely eat there again and certainly recommend it.

Food was decent, but for an Italian restaurant, there wasn't much of it! Even my 9 and 10 year olds were still hungry after eating their dinners and a side salad.
