I was so excited to see The Better Half Dinner was open again! I took my neighbor bragging about how the burgers were one of the best around. The menu pricing is the same, however the food isn't. It was a generic burger no seasoning. I got a quesadilla with grilled chicken. There was barely any cheese on it. I personally would rather the owner raise the price on her menu than lower the quality of their food.My neighbor said she wouldn't be back. I will give it another chance, however not foe a while.

Visited twice during a stay at Cedar Point and had a pair of delightful breakfast experiences, in large part to server Chelsea who was an absolute bright ray of sunshine. It seemed everyone else in the place were regulars because of the family vibe and banter between the staff and the customers. First visit was during a rush and Chelsea did her best to cheerfully flow through the room and give each guest attention, so I can forgive the few extra minutes it took for our food to reach our table. Second visit during a quieter time definitely delivered timely service. If you are a fan of local gems like we are, this beautifully broken rundown little diner might be worth a visit. If you require polish or you're in a hurry, maybe this isn't the right fit for you. Come for the vibes. For me, it was just a joy to be in that room, listen to the people and feel like part of the neighborhood.

Considering we came on a Sunday, our group tried to be understanding of the slow service. However when all of our food came back cold, we were disappointed. When brought to the servers attention, she said she would microwave the dishes for us. We weren’t really looking forward to reheated food for breakfast. The staff seemed annoyed by our table, but thankfully took the cold items off our bill. Overall not pleased with our experience

I really want everyone to know that this little diner may not call a lot of attention to itself but what you get there is guaranteed to satisfy your hunger.We were looking for a breakfast place to go eat at during our stay in Sandusky since we were visiting Cedar Point so we wanted to go eat at a place that would give us the right start to our day.And we are happy that we found this diner. The waitress who was working there always welcomed us with a smile. We got refills on our drinks. And our food came to our table hot and fresh. My favorite food to order was the pancakes they were very filling.I hope we get the opportunity to eat here again. And if you are ever in town to visit Cedar Point go get your day started with a good breakfast here.
