Love this place. The food, (except chicken legs are always red, undercooked), the atmosphere, and friendly people working here bring us back. Everything except chicken legs. We use our seasons pass holders with the meal plan, a great value if you are a frequent visitor. The steak is perfect, the shrimp and rice is also a delicious option. If your looking for a meal and not just run of the mill park food, try this place.
The food is pricey, but you might as well pay a bit more and get something good. They do have consistency issues with their food - sometimes it's good, others it's been on the warming tray way too long or it's out of stock. Farmhouse at the back of the park has similar food but is more consistently better.Grand Pavilion has sirloin steak but be sure it still looks juicy and pink - once it sits out for a while, it gets dry and gross. By far the best place to get food at CP. The funnel cake battered shrimp is the best! Upstairs there are outside balcony's with a great view of the lake and a full bar. It's also the only spot in the park that has a modern, clean restroom.
