I had a ridiculous experience at Sandusky Kroger. I walked into the store and saw the buy five save five on Chex mix and decided to purchase two bags and I found three other items in the store to finish the five items. As I am checking out I notice that the $5 did not come off. I talked to the employee on self checkout who first told me I needed to download the coupon. I look on Kroger.com and saw there was no coupon to add. Another employee was called over and she went over and checked the deal by the front doors. She came back and said I needed to purchase five of the same item. I told her that wasn't true because it says mix and match. She then went to talk to the manager (who never bothered to come over) and she came back and said there was nothing she could do to help me. I would have to go over to customer service to work it out. This was after already wasting 10minutes on a Sunday because the employees did not understand how Kroger deals work. I said just forget it. I also told her I would not be coming back after all the wasted time and lack of concern for customer satisfaction on the employee side and I paid for my items and left. She said okay and did not seem to care that I was frustrated. Guess I will just stick with Meijer from now on since Kroger doesn't care about their customers.

For months now the same issues have been frustrating all customers , I've had so many conversations with others waiting in line for 20 plus minutes for even the self checkouts, and it's all times of the day. There's never any open, why even have them? At least open them so it can speed up the process. One of the two entrances is always closed at different times randomly due to "cart retriever issues" which makes zero sense when the side open never has any and customers have to walk back out for a cart. The people working need help, they are always understaffed, if it's a lack of help issue run some ads and hire people. It's sad that this once was a great store has tragically gone downhill. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.

I waited in for me deli items for almost 20 minutes. I was the only customer. the worker was a young man and very slow, kept stopping to talk to other employees. was very rude in his greeting, like he really didn't give a crap. after waiting for my items , I had to do self check out. with about 350.00 worth of groceries! thank goodness the young girl at self check out was very helpful. after ordering all my deli boars head meats and cheeses... which I can only eat that brand due to severe migraines and this brand seems to be the only one that doesn't trigger them . when I got home I noticed the young man gave me private select and Kroger brand cheese after I specifically told him boars head, I'm sure it was easier for him to just choose what HE wanted. absolutely unreal! and totally unacceptable!!!!

Good hot food...staff is awesome ?? ?? very kind people. Boarshead meats are high af...but everyone knows that already. Hot food is priced right though!

The worst managed store in the country, I have never waited less then 30 minutes to check out, they only keep one register open, while the 3-4 managers scratch their back sides ....

Prices were not at a competative price on meats nor salads. But taste is good. People were friendly & helpful.

The deli workers are always very nice, clean, and neat looking. They cut the meat and cheese the way that we ask them to. They also let us sample a slice to see if we like it before purchasing!
