“The Brass Pelican is your basic dive bar with enough TV's to call it a sports bar. It is usually pretty busy during dinner and that means that service can be slower since the kitchen is small but the servers are pleasant. They will gladly get you another pour of whatever you need. Order a large draft and you will likely not need to see them again (huge frosted mugs). The food is the best bar food around and the daily specials are some of the best priced options I see anywhere. I come for the price and food options. There have been times when things are over or undercooked which is a disappointment when it happens. Generally speaking it goes as you hope and you leave with a full belly filled with unhealthy yummy foods.“
“I've been to many pulps all over NE Ohio, and this is the best one I've ever been to. (The worst one being in Cincinnati). I live in cleveland and even my favorite location there doesn't compare to this one by any means. My smoothie was fully blended, so smooth, and perfectly made, with no big chunks left in the bottom, and the alterations I made to my Turkey wrap were followed to an absolute T. The employees were very nice and the service was quick, with very little wait time, even with just the two employees. They were pleasant and I was outstandingly impressed with the quality of my order. Every time I'm in Sandusky I will be coming here!!!“
“Tonight my family and some of our neighborhood friends celebrated my parent's anniversary. I called the day before and made a reservation for about 17 people. Not only were they able to accommodate us, but everything was delightful and our meals were delicious. Our server was tall with dark hair and she was great. Thank you for such a positive experience with our large group.“
