Have been here multiple times, the food and drink selection is great, and there are usually rotating specials that are seasonal. I would recommend the cioppino and lobster bisque as options that I've come back to as repeats.

It was our first visit this evening! We had a great experience! The food was amazing and the servers were very nice and pleasant, both Jake and Sara were absolutely great! We definitely recommend this restaurant and will dine there again when we are back in the area!

My husband and in-laws ate here for my husband’s birthday. Everything we had was superb. We started with the calamari, and my husband had oysters. We also split the lobster pizza (it was delicious). I got the walleye piccata, and it was excellent as well. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive too. We had a wonderful experience here. We will definitely be back!

The food was delicious, one of our plates was not good because was the incorrect type of meat it was practically just fat but we asked them to change it and they did it without any problems, everything else was amazing, it is pricey but you pay for the good quality ? would be nice if they didn't had bugs inside and had some background music.

I got a recommendation to come here - the place is beautiful and the bar is the place to be! I love to eat at the bar - and this one did not disappoint! Got a great steak with whipped potatoes and green beans (ok, the green beans were a bit overdone, my only complaint) - meat was perfectly seasoned and the peppercorn sauce was great (a bit surprised that is cost $3, but it WAS good). Service was terrific - great conversation, which always adds pleasure to the meal. I'd go there again in a heartbeat!

I had lobster bisque and butternut squash ravioli. Both delicious. My husband had the onion soup and duck duo. He really enjoyed both.Great flavor profiles, excellent presentation.

We had several apps and drinks. I ordered the steak and was terribly disappointed in its chewy status. Good not great lobster pizza, good not great Salmon, decent stuffed Chicken, once again not a showstopper at all. Grandmas meatballs were store bought or sure seemed like it. When I paid the check I was surprised that the drinks were almost as much as the food. One of those gotcha Never again nights. 400 with tip for a few folks trying to have dinner. I wish them well, but based on the traffic flow they are burning through customers and may not be around for long.

Drove 3 hours to purchase a yacht, in Sandusky Ohio. Everyone recommended ZINC, is the place to eat. Walked in, and I was never in my life treated so rudely, guy was like get out we are booked. Tried to open my mouth and say something, he was like what don't you understand get the F Out. Another couple tried to walk in right behind me, and he treated them the same, then locked the front door. Small town, described the gentleman to several people found it was the owner Caser. Bro if you cannot take the heat get out of the kitchen. I have been in town for 3 hours so far, and everyone local in town talks about how nasty he is. Found out his ex wife owns Crush, so me and wife went there to eat. Just a FYI.

When we went to visit my daughter during her internship in Sandusky we didn't have high hopes for the food scene. We were mistaken... we had some great meals. The best of them was our amazing dinner at Zinc!! I don't understand why they call themselves a Brasserie. It's a mistake. This is decidedly NOT French food. French inspired... sure. The name makes one expect a very different menu and experience. In the end I don't care what they call it... I call it inventive and delicious!! They had me from the start with hand stuffed Bleu Cheese Olives for my excellent Martini! Then there is the menu. I really wanted to try EVERYTHING. It is full of unique flavor combinations. My family and I created our own tasting menu. The Angry Calamari... served in a spicy tomato, basil sauce, was such a pleasant change from the usual fried. The Baby Portabello Mushrooms were sublime. The Lobster Bisque En Croute was a wonderful surprise... that spectacular dome of puff pastry. an old school dish that was perfectly executed... the sherry balancing the creaminess. Duck Two Ways on Butternut Risotto with Sour Cherry Sauce was another revelation... pan roasted breast, leg confit... perfectly cooked... the risotto... I'm running out of adjectives! The Spinach and Artichoke Stuffed Chicken simple and perfect. The Sesame Crusted Chilean Sea Bass served over Udon Noodles... who does this?! Another perfectly executed idea. We were too full to even consider dessert! Alas I will probably never be back in Akron... if I ever am I'm eating every meal here. I have one super minor nitpick... and I'm conflicted about it. For the price... and it is not cheap... the wait staff was dressed a little too casually. That being said the service was impeccable and friendly... so in retrospect I don't care if they wear clown costumes... as long as they keep bringing me food like this!
