“I have been there a few times and it never disappoints. The homemade lasagna is to die for . The spaghetti was the proper proportion and just wonderful in taste and texture. I have been there for a couple breakfast and everything was really good. I do also want to add about the atmosphere, and the people that work there they are funny attentive to our needs and pleasant to everybody. This is a must go to restaurant.“

“My now husband and I had our wedding shower here back in August 2023, in their Heritage Building. We've gone to Filia's on other occasions, but we loved being able to celebrate with close friends and family at such a beautiful location. They're all super friendly and make your visit worth it. We had a few friends who had never been here leave with a few bottles of wine because it was so good! I can't wait to go back and make more memories!“

“We had the fish fry and the food was great. Is service was great. Dessert sucked. Don't get the carrot cake. Price was 9 dollars I would have paid 1dollar. Very artistic, but very small. It ruined the whole experience. I said something to one of the servers who told me it was their version. We bought 2 figuring we could share. The 2 were enough for 1 person.“

“Just wow. We picked this place at random - we were going to a different restaurant nearby, but the wait for tables there was too long. We looked across the road, saw this place, and thought, "let's go there." Boy, am I glad we did!Everyone from the greeters to the servers to the bus people were friendly and helpful. Our waitress continually came back with a smile and was just so nice. But the huge surprise was the food! Everything, I mean absolutely everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. My wife had the chef's special, which was so good she told them that they should add it to the menu. My tacos were delicious, the chips and salsa were wonderful, and the guacamole is some of the best that I've ever had.The food came out very quickly, and we did not feel rushed - quite the opposite. “A nice drive from city, Bent Ladder is one of the most serene places we have visited. At night you can sit by the fire in sip on a flight of cider looking up at the stars, while all other noises vanish. There’s something nostalgic about it that brings me back to my childhood, wanting to be outside in the country. Inside the barn, you can listen to live music and play board games with friends. They had a food truck with yummy quesadillas that hit the spot. We will definitely be back to watch the sunset.“

“Last weekend, we hosted an unbelievably fun Secret Society Comedy show in the ballroom at Blue Heron where Ben and the staff did everything in their power to make the show a success. Over 200 people came to laugh along with us on a gloomy Friday night, and I'd highly recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere to host your next event.“

“Nice cafe. I had the sausage and gravy with eggs. Warning - their sausage gravy is a bit spicy, so if you don't like hot, don't order. Eggs were cooked right, and the sausage gravy was loaded with meat. My wife had the French toast special with strawberries. Fresh cut strawberries would have made the dish much better instead of the strawberry compote that was served. Service was excellent, wait staff attentive. The cafe is decorated with painting of dogs, which is different.Parking: Free parking behind and on the street in front.“

The biscuit was light and flaky, eggs over easy were cooked well with runny yolks, and the bacon was crispy. Typical breakfast offerings but they were good. We were seated immediately and the serving staff was friendly and attentive. Typical small town diner feel, the restaurant was clean and food came out fast. No issues this visit.“
