Interesting place. One thing I hate to see are the middle aged hustlers who sometimes parasitze hip spots. In this instance, the hustler attention bombed the bartender for free drinks and such. This place is in a large space like a mall.

My go to for drinks at van aken! I love that I can order at the bar and take it out to the market hall or outside in the warmer months. Always a good beer selection.

Great beer and mead, very spacious and airy, with friendly service and friendly vibes. Also, cool chess table!(No food served, but you can bring in your own from other places in the Hall)

Very unfortunate experience. Went here on Saturday 12/16/23. Was told by the man with long hair that I had to order something. I asked for a soft drink, denied me one. Told him I was sober and that my friends were ordering but he still told me to get a drink or get lost.

A nice brewery/bar in van aken. Beers are all local and decently priced. They have a few wines ans a cocktail menu as well. They have a good amount of seating inside And their own patio area, whcih can get crowded pretty quickly. Be sure to ask for a DORA cup so you can walk around or sit elsewhere in the market hall! I tried the sea glider, which was delicious but probably not worth it for the amount vs price. Next time, would stick with a beer or cider! Staff is friendly and is helpful if you need help deciding on anything

Great place for beer and mead in the Van Aken district. On weekends they have live music outside when the weather is nice Fairly priced and a good vibe. I had one drink that I really didn't like but otherwise have had good experiences

Nothing remarkable about their brews here. I wasn't offered a taste sample, which is kinda important with unique beers. My choice was the only Belgian offered, a trippel, served as only 10 oz. In a small plastic cup - really!?! This is a beer that is supposed to be served in a rounded glass. Also, they have a very long (40 ft?) bar with just 2 bartenders on a Friday night.

Place has lot of option but bartender does not let you sample even a couple of beers before you place an order. Their recommendation were pretty average as well.

Love the Collective… Great choice of craft beers and I love the atmosphere of the new Van Aken shopping district. At times, though it can be very crowded and long waits for your beverage of choice; they definitely need to improve on that. But the bartenders are all exceptionally friendly and competent.

Great place. Not too loud. Good drinks, friendly staff. Can sit inside or outside. Glass plastic cups available (glass has to stay on premises). They do close a bit early though. Wide range of drinks, from wine, to whisky, beer on tap and beyond. Stellar location, right near restaurants. Parking is a breeze as well.

The Craft Collective is such a cool spot. We were looking for a place to meet up with a friend while we were visiting the Cleveland area and The Van Allen District and Craft Collective came up.We were a bit bummed after walking in, because all the businesses look so cool, but many closed earlier. We were still happy to enjoy some cold beers at Craft Collective and on its own, it's a great experience. They have indoor and outdoor seating and serve a great variety of beers on tap, they also have wine, alcoholic slushies and cocktails available. We opted to sit inside at the longer tables and hung out until close. We each tried a couple beers and they were delicious. The bartender was really nice and answered all our questions.Next time we visit we'll have to come earlier to check out more of the businesses and try some more beers.
