I work nearby and leaving my shift out back witnessed a group of staff here beating a cat. Double checked the next day to make sure I seen things right during my shift and there was blood all over the concrete out back.

Food is usually pretty good. The servers here are extremely rude. They cut you off and run into you when your walking to the buffet line and then ignore you completely when your eating. No refills, nothing. Then expect a tip. I'm tired of tipping these servers for being rude. Start being nice and watch where your going. That's my final tip you'll ever get from me.

Was excited to bring my family to try Hong Kong Buffet. Upon arrival I was I met with a gentleman that didn't want to listen as I had questions on pricing. He seemed annoyed and walked away to point us to our seats. My husband asked about a high chair and the man seemed aggravated and said just a minute. The food was old and greasy. My toddler and 12 yr old didn't touch the food. I tried. One plate a person and was met with a $60 bill. 2 adults one 12yr old, one 3 yr old. 3 sodas 1 water. Seems steep to me. Pay less for golden corral.

So let's start with the pros. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was very clean. It was nice to see a friendly face after having been on the road for a few hours. Unfortunately, the food was less than mediocre. Even with it sitting dried out under a hot lamp, it was often cold overcooked chewy and just didn't have great flavor. And even though they have a lot of hit pate settings set up for food, they have multiple dishes repeated throughout. At least it was cheap. I think for lunch it was only about $10 per person.

We went here specifically so that we could eat after a long day of driving we were pretty hungry. We all ate roughly 3 plates which is more than normal at a buffet. The waitress had the audacity to say to "oh wow another plate".

My wife and I were driving home from Detroit and found this Siri found this little gem for us. My wife speaks Chinese so she was able to communicate easily with our waitress. We enjoyed the food and the service was very good. My only peeve was that the tea was way too strong and bitter. No problem No Place Is Perfect.

In general a good place to eat but a little pricey for the food quality. I'd rather just stay in Piqua and eat at China East.
