This place is like home, it's busy, with consistent staff. I have been coming here for years, always seeing the same faces, it's nice. Food is excellent and it's worth the drive just for the desserts and coffee. I highly recommend you try this place. Excellent food, excellent service, wonderful staff.
We have been waiting to go to the infamous Chicago Deli Restaurant. We waited a bit before someone acknowledged and greeted us. We were set down straws thrown on the table and the person walked away period not sure what her role was. However, you can tell perhaps this wasn't her responsibility.And she got to sit down so that she could quickly attend to something else. The service was okay. Food sat under heat lamp over 10 minutes, we had a clear view of the cooking area. The food was okay. Not sureIf it was a off day because it was the day before saint patrick's day which is a huge deal.

Don't care about the customers order. Order through Doordarsh and called and ask could they toast the bread of my cornbeef thr rude cashier said they can't change orders placed in Doordarsh.. you mean you literally can't tell your cook to toast bread on a customer's order? Like every other establishment I ordered from has been able to. Ridiculous

Ordered a king and regular corned beef today around 4pm for takeout. Asked it not to be too lean, leave some fat. When I received the sandwiches they were pale, tasteless as though the meat has been sitting in water. Very very lean and cold. Almost like eating a cold cut sandwich. Very disappointed because this isn't their usual the last two times I was there.

Really wanted to like this but we waited 17 minutes to even be greeted by our server, then someone else brought the food 20 minutes later so no soup ahead of the entrees, and no one came back again until we were done so there was no one to tell that we didn’t get what we ordered. The food was mostly good but the chili had a very strange taste.
