This place was fantastic. The street tacos were incredible. The salsa they give you to start is some of the best I’ve had. Wish I lived near this place because this would be my go-to Mexican restaurant.

Visited from out of town, and I eat Mexican food quite often. But the food here was medicore, I’ve had better. Large menu.. and felt rushed to order. The shredded chicken enchiladas were super dry and basic.This place seemed more for the hype/experience of loud music and fancy looking drinks. Server totally gave us false info on the sizing of margaritas…. And convinced us to get the large after we tried to get a smaller size..And we ended up with these gigantic margaritas that tasted like straight juice. $100 bill for some basic food and juice margaritas, was not worth it to me. Expensive for a place I left hungry from.

It was late in the evening and we were headed back to our hotel. We were hungry and did not want fast food. We also did not want to drive into Cincinnati to find a place. I asked my partner if she would like Mexican cuisine and she said yes. I went into my phone and found Mi Cozumel.I loved the decor immediately. Everything was big. Even the seating gave you so much room. They provided complimentary chips and salsa. When I took my first bite it took me back to the time when I was in the Navy in the early 90s and we would go hang out in Mexico on the weekends.Their service was amazing. The food came out immediately. I had the Birria tacos. Let me say this: many people try to make Birria tacos in restaurants and they fail often. Not Mi Cozumel. It was just right.Their drinks are strong and we are definitely returning whenever we are in the area.I will say that it is loud so having a serious conversation might not be possible. Personally, I don't have an issue with this since we frequent many bars when we travel but I can see others having an issue.Outside of that, Mi Cozumel gets a full 5 stars.

The food and service were excellent, but it is so loud in there it felt like a night club. Very hard to carry a conversation. And you might need to take out a small loan just to buy a drink.

Was a ok place staff really had no idea how to run a busy restaurant but the food was ok and the alcohol drinks were ok may go back another time the best part was the fire department showed up cuz the place was close to catching fire
