I’ve been here many times with my family and husband. Ordered food here and would hype them up. Me and my entire family is white. I’ve always walked in and ordered food or drinks and had a good time and have never been carded. The one time I bring some girlfriends in and one of them is black the lady behind the bar gives us dirty looks and cards all of us and then gives us attitude and tells us we will have a super long wait on food and the bar maybe has 4 or 5 other people there. I heard rumors that this bar was racist but never felt it until we experienced it for myself. Made me feel stupid for hyping it up to my friends. Will not be going here again as long as they are not inclusive to everyone over 21 no matter what they look like.

We were forced to bring our glasses up so they could make our new drink in same glass and ice? I understand being short on cups, ice etc... but why so rude? Melted ice in drinks/cups made new drink watered down and not to mention unsanitary... Will NEVER go back here, have never been treated or spoke to the way we were there...

Don't forget to bring your glass to the counter... even if your not finished or the bartender WILL NOT SERVE YOU and will speak down on you. " They are trying to save on ice" So, you've put your mouth on the glass, and then they put that side on the lever that activates the machine to pour. Now they take someone else's glass and do the same thing. Yuck. Also if refilling several glasses at once, how do they know whose is whose? BUT I REPEAT DO NOT ASK THE BARTENDER WHY YOU HAVE TO WALK BACK TO YOUR TABLE AND CARRY MANY GLASSES BACK TO THE BAR OR SHE WILL BECOME VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.... VERY!!! Then followed out to our vehicles to plead with us that management would never approve of that behavior??? Owners should definitely check into this... VERY UNSANITARY AND UNPROFESSIONAL.
Came in at 6:45pm on a Friday night, not real busy but was informed it would be an hour for food, fine. Got our drinks and sat down. An hour and a half later we still don't have food, which was just 2 appetizers. Watching pizzas and takeout going out the door for delivery while in person customers were clearly NOT the priority. Our food finally arrives as a family of 9 is seating themselves nearby. By now it's 8:30pm and this group is informed it would be an hour and a half for a pizza but they would have to take it to go because they had kids under 21 and couldn't be in the bar after 10pm. They already had drinks so were going to just leave and eat somewhere else. An argument broke out between the staff and this family, which included a handicapped woman and a young child, maybe 8 yrs old, because they "shouldn't have brought a kid into a bar anyway ", they were cursed at by the delivery driver. They were from out of town and just trying to get dinner. But apparently messing up the local alcholics good time wont be tolerated at the Boone Saloon. Absolutely awful experience

They were proud they ran a guy from Yellow Springs out of the bar. They only want people there they approve of,Vegetarian options: They had some vegetarian options they have a lot of different kinds of crust.
