I stopped by this Kroger today while I was in town for business. The staff was really nice, but the building seemed old and a little run down. The men's restroom was a bit dirty and could use some attention. The parking lot had mobile cameras, which tells me they are having crime problems. Overall, it was an okay experience, but I'd look for other grocery stores if I lived in Springfield.

My girlfriend was rudely spoken to by a cashier named Janie .. she was a total bitch . We usually get great service there . People like her need to not be interacting with the public.

I was at Kroger just a little while ago and wanted to get a 8 pice of fried chicken I had seen that it came out fresh from the fryer . The lady told me no I had to get it from the table on the floor . She refused to fix me a 8 piece that had just came up. Who knows how long the other chicken had been packaged and placed out under the heat lights. They don't put a time on the package anymore. So I just left my cart of groceries and went to Walmart and to get groceries and stopped at KFC to get my chicken.

I'd give no stars if possible. This location is ok with their employees discriminating against customers. Then would rather you get an attorney and sue them, rather than doing the right thing and settling it without attorneys. Last month I went to Kroger and grabbed a few things and went to checkout. The cashier was an older lady that I've never really spoken too even though I'm in this location often. When she was done I pulled out my card. When she noticed it was an EBT card, she looked at me and said "It must be nice. I wish I could get food stamps but I HAVE a job and I have to work." She said it very rudely and very matter-of-factly. I didn't say anything and left. A few days later I was back, this time with my son and found myself in her line again. She stepped it up this time when she scanned a Christmas mug with hot chocolate in it. She assumed I was buying the mug with EBT but it was being bought with cash. She said "Aren't you ashamed to let your kids grow up thinking it's ok to be on food stamps?" I was seeing red. I told her I have a very painful autoimmune disease that is preventing me from working, seizures, the let side of my body is numb, I just had a mini stroke and my ex fiance played a hand in shooting me and I'm trying to heal not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. I ended up putting a few items back including the mug because she had shamed me. The first person I spoke to when I tried to report it told me that Kathy (the cashier), has had quite a few complaints against her for saying things like that. Another manager was supposed to call me and never did BUT told her boss that did speak to me. Why lie? Not ONE person has called me to deal with this while I keep reaching out. This isn't fair that your employee did this to me not once but twice and shamed me into putting items back. The one manager I did speak to said she wouldn't blame me if I decided to sue for discrimination and emotional damage and I think that's what I'm going to do. It's not right for you guys to treat a customer this way. Then tell her to deal with it and settle it through an attorney. What's wrong with your employees and how you treat people, Kroger?

It's a Kroger. Pretty Typical. It seemed like this one was pretty easy to get in and out of.

This was probably the dirtiest grocery store I have ever been in. Don't get me wrong, I lover Kroger but this particular store was terrible. Unstocked shelves, literally filthy floors, scuff marks...I mean it was that bad. When I was a teenager, I worked at a Safeway. That store had monthly inspections by the district manager and it was his job to ensure each store under his control was top notch. In this case, I would demote the district manager and store manager both as both appear to be incompetent. I'll go to the Walmart down the street next time to shop...

An embarrassment to the Kroger company name. Seriously, get a more competent pharmacy staff that is capable of doing the basic tasks of a pharmacist. Pathetic

We've been pleased with the selection, cleanliness & freshness of food at this Kroger over the years. Since the pandemic we're trying to use the order/delivery service. We've ordered 5 times, and out of those we've picked up twice and had them delivered 3 times. I'm really impressed with the pick-up service. It was a smooth process with no issues. The delivery seems to be different. I don't think the people who prepare your order for pickup is the same as the ones who shop & deliver. With the delivery service we spent two hours receiving/responding to texts about products not being available & suitable replacements. They were unable to find or items were unavailable for $50 out of a $320 order, despite the online store describing items as "in stock". I felt like for the $10 delivery fee with A $15 tip we spent too much times texting then when they got here we carried the majority of the groceries from their car to house. I think we'll stick to pick-up from now on.

Soooo disappointed with Kroger. I ordered groceries on line and set up a pick up time between 6 and 7 tonight. I got there at 6:45 and was told that it would be another 40 minutes. Keep in mind that I had received email and text to confirm my pick up time( which I had ordered earlier this morning) and they had already debited money from my account. When I asked for the store manager, they sent another employee out to me, who wasn't the store manager, (she actually had her name tag covered up) and all I was told was that they didn't know what was going on. When I offered to take my business to Wal-mart....they actually encouraged me to do so. What?? I guess I'm shopping at Wal mart from now on. I had actually planned my day around this grocery pickup.

Cashiers are always friendly, and do a good job, the bathrooms are almost never clean though, they don't clean them as much as they should.

THANKS, global pandemic... Now I'm reduced to reviewing grocery stores!! :-( This is our nearest Kroger to home, and fine for a quick stop and/or to pick up all your basic needs. I don't think they've got the "best" selection, but they're fine for just about everything you'll need. They appear to have a good delivery service, though I've never used it. Deli's pretty well stocked, bakery has a good selection, and fruits/veggies have all the "standards." Helpful crew, reasonable hours (Pre-Pandemic) and generally pretty clean. Heck, they even had TP andn paper towels (!!!) available when I stopped in yesterday at about 5pm. The biggest bonus for me is the in-store branch of my bank, 5/3rd, with extended weekend hours (PP). If you're in the area, stop on in....

I visit this location as it is in my sister's neighborhood. The cashiers I've encountered are nice. I plan meals based on the meats they have on clearance it has stretched my budget which I really appreciate. I just have to be flexible and creative. The shelves are usually well stocked with items I need. I remember my dad always shopped at Kroger's in Dayton 60 years ago. Don't know why I mentioned that other than it was a pleasant memory.

We lived in this neighborhood for 35 years and shopped at this location from the time it first opened. We moved away 5 years ago and live closer to other "Kroger" stores, but still prefer this one. Are they perfect? No, but no one is. The employees have always been very courteous and professional. It was confusing during the recent remodel but that happens. I have never really experienced a rude employee. Rude customers, yes, but not rude employees.
