Maybe I could if you don’t work before 3:30 weekdays I can’t vouch for then. I am definitely not over exaggerating by saying the past 4 visits I have not gotten what I want. There’s only a few things to pick from barely any options at all. Today was Bismarks ( wanted chocolate cream filled or at least glazed … none). They don’t make enough product ever in my opinion. Unless I have the worst luck on the days I show up. My response I sent to my wife explains it best for me. “I’ve always walked out of there disappointed “. I normally have to settle on something else. Today I bought nothing and left. Figured if they read this post schulers can meet the needs(wants) of people.

Donuts taste like they are made with gritty unmelted sugar. At 8am they start to get stiff like they were made the night before. Back in the day Schuelers was good. Now their donuts suck and they close for no reason on Sundays and Mondays. Also... the sign they put in the door is just ignorant. In this country you shouldn't need to announce your intolerant views toward others at the door.

I stopped in and purchased some donuts and a cupcake last Saturday evening. I wish I had checked the items before I left the store because they were so dry and stale. Total waste of money.

It’s just a shame what happens to a local family business as it fades into nothing. We’ve gone here w my grandparents for decades and that tradition is almost over. Quality is down. Open hours are ridiculous (closed Sunday & Monday?!). It’s like they’re writing a book on how to self destruct.

Love the gingerbread and glazed. To bad you can't get a honey crueller or apple fritter. And can we acknowledge the way the Derr Rd store front looks? Wow!

Didn't make it through the door as the owner doesn't want business from people who show kindness to others.

How can you be closed on Sunday's and Monday? This is not the Schuler's we grew up on. First you started using cheaper ingredients and cutting corners. You screwed up the quality. Now you close on Sundays and Mondays. I miss the days when schuler's chose people over insane profits. You are not Chick-fil-A . Shame on you.

These are the nastiest "donuts" I have ever eaten!! I sent a friend over for a dozen glazed for an event I was having Saturday morning. They only had 6, so he called and told him to get the glazed twists (they look like a figure 8). The only kind they had had chocolate "frosting" on them. So, ok, someone will like the chocolate. I was charged extra for the "Bismarks". According to Websters," A Bismarck is a type of filled pastry that resembles a doughnut without a hole. Also known as a Berliner, Bismarcks are typically made of yeast dough fried in lard, filled with fruit jam or creme and topped with a dusting of powdered sugar or a drizzle of icing glaze." Definitely NOT like any of the Bismarks I have ever eaten.. The people who did take the chocolate ones had to scrape a good 3 TBLS. of chocolate off of them before they could even try and eat them. All of them were dry like they had been sitting for hours, and it was only 9:30 in the am. To top it off, when I looked at the receipt my friend handed me I about fainted. They charged me $15.60 for something that they don't have to worry about me ever purchasing again. For those of you who love Schuler's, try some good donuts sometime. You will never go back either.
