I have been going to the Downtown Bakery since I was a little girl. There is not a bakery around that will ever come close to the Downtown Bakery. Especially the glazed donuts, smiley face cookies and their birthday cakes ?Kid-friendliness: Everyone is so friendly no matter what time I go in, It can be 5am or 1pm. You will never go wrong when you stop past the Downtown Bakery!! We get donuts every Saturday morning between 5am and 8am and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Today we tried Downtown Bakery in Stubenville. Got home, opened the box of chocolate chip cookies. Stale and rock hard, what a disappointment.

Very easy to work with. I am from out of town and wanted to order a cake for my Mom's birthday. I called ahead and they helped me order my moms favorite cake (chocolate with cherry filling and whipped cream frosting) that was large enough to feed the whole party and have 2 slices left over for breakfast the next day. I was able to run in the shop, pick up the cake, and couldn't leave without a few dozen butter cookies that I spotted in their display. The cake was delicious and beautiful; I just wish I was able to take a better picture before we devoured it! Thanks for making such a pretty, delicious cake- my family and I will definitely be returning!

Fresh baked daily! The Cheese Cake is the best. They have it all and it's like the bakeries when I was a kid in the 70s. Friendly helpful employees.
