I have been informed by a local resident that the restaurant is permanently closed. Update your hours! Drove 10 miles to eat here and you are closed. Won't be back. Several other people came and left as well. We are disappointed and wasted our gas coming to Stow.

Best meal I've had in a long time!My partner and I decided to try this place out for the first time, and we were blown away! Mark was our server and he was so friendly, and knew the menu inside and out. He was able to tell us all about the made-from-scratch sauces and meatballs, along with so many other "family recipe" and homemade options. I was really happy to find how FRESH all of the food was- nothing frozen here! Lots on tap, especially if you're into local breweries and specialty beers. Great cocktail menu too.Huge portions and really reasonable prices. My boyfriend who always cleans his plate had leftovers for the next day, and he was stuffed! There were so many things on the menu that we wanted to try and sounded amazing, so we will be back soon! Thanks for a great experience Mark!

First time trying this place at the invitation from friends. The waitress was new and service was a bit slow but totally understandable with current staffing shortages. My chicken parm sandwich exceeded my expectations! The price was very reasonable and I’m sure we will do it again!!!

I'd long heard good things about the Tavern of Stow, but finally got around to trying it over the weekend. It's situated in a strip mall, but the interior was bright and modern. At around 9 on a Friday night, tables were still filled with people--always a good sign. Our server (whose name I unfortunately do not remember) walked us through the menu. While the menu might look standard bar fare, it's clear the Tavern of Stow places on emphasis on fresh and home-made food rather than frozen junk off the back of a truck. We started with the fried cheese wedges and the house marinara, which were delicious. I had the wedding cake drink and found it very nicely balanced. For my entree, I had the Western with grilled chicken. My partner ordered a burger. A small mix-up happened and he wound up getting the wrong burger. Our server realized and offered to bring him the one he'd ordered, but my partner was enjoying the "wrong" burger so much that he didn't care. Still, we appreciated our server's offer. I had a glass of the house pinot noir next, which was good and reasonably priced. I really enjoyed my sandwich and the homemade chips (which weren't oily or undercooked like they can be at other places). All-in-all, we had great food and service, and I look forward to coming up and working my way through the menu. So many things sounded good!

Amazing foods, good prices, nice people, great drinks... what is not to like? We found this place by accident and could not be happier with our experience. Glad to be seated outside bc it was crowded and tight inside.

Dropped in for dinner and ordered the chicken Parmesan dinner. I substituted broccoli for my pasta. It was a delicious as the photo. The service was impeccable, the employees were engaging and helpful. The owner stopped by to check on our meals. You can tell their pride of ownership and how they value value their customers.

The best Alfredo I've ever eaten. Incredibly friendly staff that genuinely cares about you. Great atmosphere, love this place.

Nice little place with good food and friendly service. We found this restaurant during COVID quarantine last year but had never been there in person. Until last night. What a nice variety on the menu and great service. Also like that they have several local beers available. We will be back!

Good service and good food. Like all the other restaurants right now, they are down some employees so service was slightly slower than normal for them.

I don't know why everyone likes this place. Most of the food is frozen, and neither of our meals or our appetizer were seasoned correctly. Also, avoid the salt and vinegar fries; ours seemed like they dumped an entire skaker of vinegar powder on it. It was like licking the bottom of a salt and vinegar chip bag. The service was incredibly slow too. It took 10 minutes for them to take our drink order and another 10 to get them. We definitely won't be back.
