The person at the cash register came out and scolded an older couple who sat in the first booth for not waiting to be seated by a waitress. Both of them could hardly walk and her feet were misformed. When we mentioned that to her she quickly said to us that she knew them, but they need to wait to be seated. She mentioned her title and that rules need to be followed. I hope she never experiences being handicapped and have pain in walking. Now on a positive note Jacob is an excellent waiter and all the waitresses do a great job.

The Tip Top is a clean, family owned, diner-like restaurant. They have a pretty extensive menu and cheap to moderately priced dishes. And the servers are friendly and efficient. Unique, old fashioned items can be found on their menu. Substituting is not discouraged. We dined-in on a Friday for their seasonal all-you-can fish fry. The beer battered cod was its usual "good" per the other 3 guests in my party. One guest said her kidney bean salad was half the amount she is used to receiving. In fact, this is something Tip Top is known for...their generous serving sizes, especially their side dishes.Unlike my friends, I ordered the vegetable quesadilla. It was a regrettable decision the moment it arrived. The quarter-wedged slices were stacked sloppily atop of each other, rendering it a soggy mass. To add insult to injury, the quesadilla was under grilled, so even the top lacked crispness. The sour cream and Pico de Gallo were fresh and in plentiful quantities. Our server seemed good at first, but as time went on, she seemed more interested in finishing her shift then waiting on our table; though we arrived 1.5 hour before closing time. There was a huge lag between every step... from our drinks to taking our order, from our order to actually getting our food. And the place was only moderately busy. Lastly, we were never asked about dessert...just brought the bill, So, my friend asked for a dessert, and the waitress immediately left to get it without asking anyone else if they also wanted dessert. And, add another insult to injury...the dessert was served hurriedly and given a senior's portion but charged for a regular dessert. Ugh! I wish I could remember our server's name. I will update this review if I do remember because I would not allow her to wait on me again, and neither should you.

A classic staple here in Ohio. This restaurant has been here for decades, and the food is still amazing. I'm a native from Colorado that recently moved here. However my Dad has been eating here for Decades. Keep up the great work. 5* all around, friendly service, great food, and fast turn around times. ?

This is one of our favorite local places to eat! The food is fantastic! The service is always good. The best part for me is the fact they have gluten free options like bread. I ordered the hot open face roast beef sandwich with gf bread and it is an amazing dish. This isn’t sliced roast beef like everyone else but actual roast beef in chunks over bread (I got gf) mashed potatoes with gravy and a side I got broccoli (way more broccoli than any other restaurant serves btw) this was so much food I brought it home and finished it today as my lunch! I would have taken a picture but my hubby and I leave the phones away from our table when dining out. Yum!Dietary restrictions: I’m gluten intolerant and they have really tasty gf bread!

One of the few restaurants I go to in the area that I am greeted with a smile start to finish. My breakfast tasted great and the serving size was huge. I would recommend this to anyone.
