Although I have had these cakes before, today was the first time I placed an order myself. The employee on the phone seemed nice enough, but I could tell she was a little unsure of herself. I ordered a dozen of the Bundtini cakes with party hats, and I added flags to each of the cakes, which was an additional charge. At first, the employee was charging me $10 more than she should have, which I questioned, and she corrected the order. I sent my husband to pick up the order a few hours later. From the store, he was dropping them off as a surprise for my sister-in-law's birthday. Fortunately, he sent me a photo of what they looked like before he delivered them. All 12 of the cakes were missing the flags that I paid extra for. He went back inside the store with his receipt and mentioned it to the staff. They did add the flags after checking his receipt. When he came home, I noticed my receipt only had my name listed as the sender. When I placed the order, I asked the employee to include both of our names on the card, again for an extra charge. Kind of embarrassing, since the gift was for his sister, and his name wasn't even listed. I did call the store manager to mention all of this to them, and I was told that they had some new staff on board. They did apologize for the mistake. I think they need to train their staff a little better, especially in taking orders. I know their cakes are delicious, but they definitely need to improve their customer service skills.

Great cakes, service is so slow its almost ridiculous. Needed 3 grab n go cakes and spend nearly 15 minutes waiting as clerks moved in slow motion and people acted like they were taking the SATs deciding on an item. Ill go down Pearl and grab White Flower next time. Have a line for people who know what they want.

The cake was delicious, but the customer service left a lot to be desired. Specifically, there was one employee who was combative during our interactions. I placed an order online for pick-up, and when I went to pick up my cake I was given the wrong flavor cake with the wrong decorations. When I mentioned that my order was incorrect, this particular employee told me that they gave me what I had ordered. When I then showed her that my order confirmation was different from the cake she had given me the employee, in a combative tone, said "well, that's because you ordered a totally different thing." I said, yes, exactly, the cake I was given was a different thing than what I ordered, which is why it couldn't be my order. She then said "give me a minute" and went in the back for a few minutes. After hearing lots of commotion in the back and remarks about how I had shown her my confirmation, she came back with a cake that was more similar to what I had ordered and said "here you go." An acknowledgement of the mix-up would have been nice, but I know that mix-ups happen and I got the sense that this employee was very stressed, so I let it go. When I got home I showed the cake to my partner who mentioned that they put the wrong flower topper on the cake. It wouldn't have been a big deal, but the flower we chose was meant to recall a special memory for my mother-in-law. I called the bakery to see if they had the correct flower in stock and the same person who I spoke with earlier picked up the phone. I mentioned that they put the wrong flower on the cake, and I asked if I could come back up to exchange the flower. The employee said that she was the one that put the flower on the cake and she knows she put the correct flower on it. I pulled up the website so I could describe the difference between the flower I ordered and the flower she placed on the cake. I asked if they had the correct flower in stock and she said "yes," and that I could come pick it up if I wanted. Again, an acknowledgment of the mix-up would have been nice. The silver lining was that when I arrived at the bakery another employee was at the counter. I showed her the flower that had been placed on the cake and she recognized that I had in fact been given the wrong flower. She gave me the correct flower and offered me a small gesture for the trouble, which I greatly appreciated. I am writing this review because if I were managing this location, I would want to know if an employee had an opportunity to improve. There's no reason a customer should have to work so hard to have an employee do what was originally requested. I think if an employee gets it wrong 1) they should acknowledge the inconvenience that it caused the customer, and 2) they should be willing to fix it without the customer needing to make an argument to do the thing at every step of the process. After lots of back and forth and needless frustration, though, the cake looked beautiful and it was certainly delicious.

My husband and I attended a charity event with a raffle. One of the items was listed as a 3 bundtlet tower with an additional 12 bundtlets. We bid, thinking the bundlets would make good holiday gifts for the folks in his office. To our surprise, we won that item. Once we got home, further examination revealed the additional bundtlets had to be picked up from a specific store, which was an 90 minute trip from our home. No problem - I could make that drive once. However, the fine print further specified one per month. That was not doable for us. I called the store and explained the situation. I asked if we could maybe just get 6 or 8 all at once and let the remaining cakes go. They said the most they could do was two at once - that the only reason they provide such donations to charity raffles is to “guarantee” someone comes in once a month, for a year. I understand their position. But good word of mouth is also good publicity. Not only will I not be collecting any of the 12 bundtlets, I will be suggesting folks get their sweet treats elsewhere. Luckily the charity still comes out ahead and our money went to a good cause!

The best location! I have been to this store many times but my recent trip was the most pleasant experience i’ve had at a business in a long time. I picked up a large order for my sisters baby shower yesterday and the two girls who cashed me out were so sweet. They were polite and making conversation and even carried all the boxes to my car for me. The cakes all look incredible as always and are beautiful decorated. I will recommend this place to everyone. Forever my favorite.

I got a white chocolate raspberry and my friend got snickerdoodle little bundt cakes and we couldn't leave the parking lot without eating them. It was worth the 20 min drive for it!!

So good! First time here and the girl on the phone (I think Ashley was her name?) was so kind and helpful. She answered all my questions and made recommendations. Picking it up after ordering it was a breeze. The cake lasted as long as they said it would! After 4 days it still tasted the same as the day I got it! So delicious, everyone in my family loved it. Will definitely be back!

Fun little cakes that are rich and flavorful. You can order an assortment or a full cake to your liking. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Quick service.

Very excited to get my bunt cakes. They always taste good. I love how they can make them without the icing for me (less sugar). I did have to wait an extended amount of time this time though. Unfortunately I heard the staff in the back talking about how they would rather die. Over dose or some other choice. Only to hear one respond over dose. I told the one girl to tell them I could hear them and they should watch what they say and that subject is not something to joke about. It's upsetting. But she didn't appear to care. The staff would be a reason I wouldn't go back. Sad since they are so good.
