When you can actually get a table the service is amazing. But if it’s busy don’t bother. The hostesses say they’ll call your number but then never do and cross your name off claiming “they called your name” as if there’s any room to wait for a table when there’s people drinking and eating all around you.

Service was good once they got to the table. Unique items on the menu wish they had more selections. Ended up eating apps for dinner. Good place to go before a movie.Parking: Mall parking very limited to many businesses for the amount of parking in the front of the mall. Behind the mall has endless parking nobody uses.

Not my cup of tea. It's more sport oriented than anything. Service and food were good. It's best if you went with a group. I feel that going on a date would not be sufficient.

I got the fish and chips and it was the worst thing I’ve eaten in quite a long time. My daughter got burger and fries and barely ate any of it. Both of our fries were limp, soggy, and cold. Atmosphere was good and wait staff did fine but the food sucks so bad.
Tons of staff in a fairly empty restaurant but we only saw our server once after ordering. Food was okay. Honestly, I wouldn't go back.

I visited in early December 2023 with a date. It was my first time at Hooley Pub & Kitchen in the Strongsville location. We arrived for dinner (around 6:30pm I think) and we were seated at the bar because they were very busy. It's very large inside so if you arrive on a busy Friday night like I did, then you may have to wait for a table. I suggest snagging a bar seat like my date and I did if you don't want to wait for a table. FOOD -- They have an extensive menu so you will definitely find something that you like. My date and I both ordered the Norwegian Salmon ($23) which came with 2 sides. I got coleslaw and mini potatoes (tater tots) as my sides and he got broccoli and mashed potatoes with gravy. We both got the salmon slightly blackened on the skin. The Norwegian salmon was delicious and I highly recommend it. My sides were just as expected (fine) and I think I had to add ketchup to the tater tots since they needed flavour. I don't like close to this pub but if I'm in the area again then I won't mind stopping by. **** GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024 - 5/150 total reviews in 2024 - 655 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 1 February 2024
