“RIp’s Cafe is a hidden jem located in Struthers Ohio. It was always known for is bar & Hungarian dishes, However they have much more to offer. A nice menu of comfort foods. A complete & stocked bar, which never disappoints. 6 TV’s for all of your sports viewing. The bar staff & servers are always on point with service. The atmosphere is always relaxed and inviting. I love meeting friends there for a bite to eat or watching the game. They have parking in the front & rear of the building. Lots of seats at the bar or hi tables. Rip’s is always an enjoyable spot for me to hang out, you will enjoy it too…“

“I have been living Youngstown since May of 2021 and I have visited all the major Pizza places in the area with the expectation of a few. I stumbled upon St. Anthony Society in Struthers, Ohio and was totally amazed at how remarkable this pizza was. It was in the basement tucked away from everything. It felt so authentic. I thought Al Capone was going to walk out and hand me the pizza. The sauce was sweet, the meat was a little spicy and the topics were so fresh! this place is a hidden gem of the area!Craig Hockenberry Youngstown.“

“Pleasant, tidy dining area, bar and facilities! I also noted that it wasn't too loud for a grille which I appreciate greatly. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and found a lively atmosphere, cheerful and attentive servers. Busy place that doesn't keep you waiting for anything. Good food too! My husband likes their Philly cheese steak with onion straws and I love the strawberry salad that comes with mixed greens, grilled chicken, fresh strawberries, goat cheese, dried cherries, candied pecans and a delicious raspberry vinaigrette dressing.“

“The Iron Mann Grille is pretty cool. A cozy little bar with a very chill atmosphere. Bar staff is super friendly and on point when you need another beverage. The food is out of this world. The have some amazing wings & wing sauces. The bar is fully stocked with a nice selection of liquors. They also have a beautiful outside dining patio to relax on. I’m a big fan of this place, you will be too.“

“This place was FANTASTIC. It IS a cash only business, which I didn't know at the time, so make sure to stop by the ATM before you go. But the Sausage Sandwiches were fantastic, the French fries were "fair style" and perfectly cooked, and the service was top notch. Its clearly a place for the locals who seem to be down to earth and friendly people. I was from out of town but felt right at home. Will be stopping by again soon.“

“Food is BEST when Blaine or James is cooking. They are fast, & on point. (Blaine is my favorite & I'm sad he doesn't work weds anymore) Best bartenders are Leslie, Heather, & Moe. Leslie has one waiting on the bar b4 I even walk in the door! I don't have to wait for drinks & Moe delivers to the patio if I've been out there too long & she knows I'll be out. Some nights are slower than others, but that's expected anywhere. Karaoke is on Wednesdays & great fun. I've held 3 adult birthday parties there & Leslie went out of her way to make each one special! She even picked a cake up FOR me to help with preparation bc I was running around ragged! If I had to complain about something, it would be that certain liquors that I drink aren't always in stock & their one fridge doesn't keep the beer quite as cold as it should be. But the bartenders adjust & compensate by putting them on ice when they see someone is drinking a brand from that fridge. Then they're ice cold & perfect. They hold free comedy nights, & have bands play occasionally. They do holiday parties w/ free food & involve the kiddos during the day for Halloween & Christmas. (sign up req) Annual membership price is very reasonable & event nights are open to the public w/out memberships.“

“Came in tonight on my birthday. John was working and he was great! So friendly, answered all of our questions, we came in a bit later and he did not rush us. We had such a great time and chatted with John a bit. There are so many bars out there but the set up was special, and so was the service. Beer drinkers, you will love the selection, others will enjoy the hard liquor available, but everyone will enjoy the ambiance and friendly service you'll get when going to whistle and keg! “We stopped in here on a whim. We've heard good things but never bothered to try it... until tonight. First off, let's talk about service. Absolutely phenomenal and I can not stress that enough. Mike and his team absolutely killed it! Our waters were constantly full, our cocktails were delicious and the one on one conversation was excellent and this was on a fairly busy night. Every seat at the bar was full and atleast 3/4 of the dining room was full.DRINKS: All of our cocktails were excellent and their whiskey/bourbon selection is damn near second to none.APPS: Chicken tenders, pretzel, hot peppers, and confit wings were all exceptional.DINNERS: Chicken & Street corn salad, Blueberry chicken sandwich, Portobello melt, and Chicken stir fry were all exquisite.DESSERT: Oreo cheesecake was excellent.We will absolutely be back!“

“This was my first time there, the place was spotless. The food was amazing. We waited a little longer, but we did have 3 big orders and there was only 1 person doing everything! She was super friendly the food was amazing. Definitely try the chips!! A must visit on my list!“

“First time there. Parking was average. Typical bar with food when you walk in. I found the booth seating incredibly comfortable. I'd have liked more options on parts of the menu, but again, a bar/restaurantso its just fine. I did like that the sandwiches were a little different than I am used to seeing.I got a french dip and my friend got a wedding soup sandwich. Both with fries but wow it was good! And the fries...yes please! They were amazing! My sandwich was actually thick cut roast beef. Portions were decent enough to have to take some home. Oh, and reheated...both sandwich and fries were still good ( i did use toaster oven/air fryer though).Service. Service was great. Like really really great. Not pushy, yet very helpful. Knew menu. Tended to patrons with balance. Service is usually the biggest factor for me if going back, and I'll be back. My friend I was with was right to recommend.“

“I had the special Friday fish with coleslaw and perogies.Wife had Fish and haluski. The haluski was very good, Fish was very good, maybe the best I've had since moving here, we both had fried, maybe a lemon half would have made it perfect. “We were looking for a place, where we felt welcome. We got some suspicious looks at first but after talking to the staff and owners, we knew we were where we needed to be. We are planning a trip to Youngstown just to show our appreciation! Ms. Dot got me putting ranch seasoning on my fries! Mickie! Them peppers Auntie!! Pickles were being delivered but I had to take a jar with me! Thank you so much for making us feel at home! We even had a great time with the patrons! We were advised to go to Frieda’s night club later that evening, based on the atmosphere we were looking for. We are definitely planning a trip just to visit again! And yes, my Wanda B’s peppers and my aunties pickles made it all the way back to TN! Paid extra for luggage but it was worth it!“

“Don't let the uninspiring facade fool you. Pros: a good restaurant has their own signature menu items. Deep fried pepperoni is a winner, and Keto friendly I think haha. Homemade deep fried sliced pickles were also a winner. Their signature dish is Mac and cheese. It is very good, but doesn't knock your socks off. Staff was excellent. Decent burgers. Cons: the layout of the restaurant and bar is very weird, and the restaurant is very dark, with no windows, made the place look dingy, old, and dirty, but it isn't. 4% credit card trx fee also sucks, but the prices were reasonable. Summary: glad we found this place, right off of I80 NE Youngstown OH. 3.5 out of 5. Pro-Tip: try the Rhode Island Red sandwich. Fried white chicken meat, bacon, grilled peppers, bbq sauce, pepper jack cheese. Tasty!“

“Parking: Large spacious parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Staff is very friendly and helpful. The owner when there will come and talk to you and make sure everything is good. Grew up going to grandmas every Sunday for Lebanese food. Their food is very good and the closest to grandmas that I have found.“

“T & J's Brickhouse is clean and pleasant with friendly, professional employees. They have entertainment on some evenings?, a pool league, and more. The back deck is enclosed with a stockade fence, has a good sound system for music, etc Although they have a limited menu, the food is excellent and the prices very reasonable. Try the quesadillas. You will so enjoy them!“

“I believe this is a private club but I could be mistaken about that. I've been here many years ago but I went with a group of people who were frequent regulars and its possible that they were members and I was their guest. Back then, in the early 2000s, I enjoyed myself in the presence of the patrons, a bar room full of people who were obviously all good friends which created an atmosphere that felt both fun and relaxing to say the least, all of these regulars treated me with welcoming kindness and acceptance. They served food and of course I ordered pasta which was totally amazing, the kind of amazing that could only be cooked by someone's grandmother born in Italy and brought with her a well guarded family recipe. If you have the opportunity to do so, definitely come here and experience this for yourself, I can promise you that you wont regret it and you'll enjoy yourself every moment spent there.“
