“Esther is the sweetest & most friendly lady. I really enjoy her baked goods and was extremely happy with the gluten free cookies. The buckeyes melt in your mouth, we brought 2 containers back home with us.Esther is very welcoming!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“This place is located in an older part of Dallas that is seeing a transformation into a new, up and coming neighborhood less than 3 miles from downtown. I found it by searching for the best croissant in Dallas. I drove an hour to find out if it was really as good as the reviews. The reviews were spot on. I have made the trip twice in the last 9 days. The plain croissant was excellent, the bacon and cheese was excellent, My absolute favorite so far is the ham and cheese croissant. It is life changing and the best croissant I have ever had. If you are ever in the area and love an extremely well made croissant you need to try this place. You won't be disappointed.“
“Giving 4 stars after coming two days in a row. Both days service was great and staff was friendly which we appreciates! On Saturday we thoroughly enjoyed sour cream donuts and apple fritters - delicious and fresh tasting. We couldn't wait to come back. On Sunday, though, it was a different story - they had a special to get 6 items for 5.99. After eating the same items again, we were strongly suspicious that they were yesterday's leftovers...this would make sense given we are in Amish country on a Sunday and perhaps they make extra Saturday to hold them through Sunday sales, but thats just a guess! Overall, worth the stop on a weekday or Saturday, but in our opinion, skip it on a Sunday ?“
“This is someplace we love to go to eat and have been coming to our whole marriage. We had lunch at Der Dutchman to celebrate our anniversary and to our surprise love the newly renovated entry and waiting area.Food is ALWAYS delicious and service is impeccable.Love the bakery and the new path to the bakery that you can now take without leaving the building. Enjoyed my ritual rock in the rocking chair and to boot it was warm in Walnut Creek.Thank you again for another great visit. We will be back very soon.LYJKid-friendliness: Always wonderful to see families and hear the little ones truly enjoying their meal.Wheelchair accessibility: Love the pathway to door and how easy it is for anyone to get to door regardless of handicapped or not.“
“Arrived a little after 5 P.M. on a Tuesday afternoon. Wasn't too busy then. Plenty of seating was available. Our server was Matthew and he quickly provided us with fresh dinner rolls and peanut butter spread.Ordered the buffet with sweet tea and water to drink. The salad bar, choice of meats and side dishes were all very tasty and piping hot. Chocolate cake included as dessert. Went away stuffed! Also I might add that the restrooms were spacious and clean...“
