There are not enough states to give Kotobuki. They are so kind and friendly, their service is bar none the best I've had at a restaurant. The sashimi and sushi are outstanding. Even the tools we only have once are amazing, the tools we get each time are phenomenal. If you like sushi and sashimi and are near them, do yourself a huge favor and go.Parking: The restaurant is part of a strip mall and there's plenty of room to park for free.

Me and the person I was dining with decided to try sake for the first time and the waitress was very patient with us as we asked a dozen questions and were completely clueless as to where to begin. The only thing is I wish they had more spicy options.

Love the Atmosphere of this place! Really cool wooden structures around the tables with the sushi station towards the back. Standard beers asahi, Sapporo, kirin. The salmon nigiri was the best of what we ordered and I'd definitely recommend getting that!
We left Ypsilanti for a long term family road trip. 45 minutes later we stopped to eat at Kobuki and now we are considering just staying here.The food was fantastic but so was the staff, what a lovely experience. My 6 year old is asking that I mention how much the kids loved it too. Highly recommend!

This place is selling instant ramen for $10. It used to be homemade, but it changed sometime in the couple years since I last visited.Save yourself the money and buy the Shin Black package at Kroger, because that’s what they’re using. You can hear the microwave running in the back. I get staffing shortages, but come on, this is disingenuous. Peep the instant-ramen-beef-chunk circled in the second pic.

Great place to come and eat. I grew up as a kid eating here with my family. It's still here after decades, serving quality Japanese food. The owner is very friendly and personable. A Go to spot for me when I crave sushi. I usually get the green tea ice cream afterwards for dessert. A must if you want sushi in Toledo.
