The inside of the restaurant is extremely outdated. Menu is small and limited. We ordered ribeye with the mashed potatoes. Best part of the meal was the mashed potatoes. Steak was very ok. No real flavor and honeslty not great. I feel like I could've made a better steak at home. Waitress was nice and provided good service.

I took my husband for his birthday yesterday. Wasn’t impressed. We love Sardini’s, and were expecting the same great service and food at Ahmed’s.To start, the place wasn’t busy, and only a few families were set around 5:30. We have a family of five and we were squished into a four seater booth. With an active 4 year old, this didn’t start well.Then, my son’s Spicey burger he requested came out as a plain burger. When I asked for it to be sent back, the waitress said, "well, isn’t this one okay?" Um, no - we paid an up charge for a dressed up burger with pepper jack cheese and the special sauce. She looked surprised. So, The burger was sent back, but the same burger came back with just some sauce and a couple onion rings put on top. No pepper jack to be found.Then, we had to wait almost 20 minutes for the check after my husband requested it. The waitress was no where to be found. Again, not easy to do with an impatient 4 year old.I’m sorry to say we won’t be returning. We usually give a place more than one chance, but the price of the food was not worth the quality or the service provided. Hopefully, they will get this worked out in the future.

Small menu selection. Not enough wait Satff. Steaks had no flavor. Mushroom the size of pencil erasers. My chicken had standing garlic sauce on it, I literally had to pour it off. Dinner salad was excellent!! Baked potato only came with butter and sour cream. Was at one time best steak house in West Toledo. New owners skimping on quality.

I felt horrible that we walked in at 9:45pm when they closed at 10pm! (I didn't realize until we sat down) they welcomed us with open arms and great service! We were not rushed and the food was great! Will be back soon!

In guessing I was taking to the owner tonight.. if I didn't like the French Onion soup he would buy it... needless to say, we paid for it... it was very good....EVERYTHING was good! Thank you! We will definitely be back!

Ordered a New York strip & the meat was tough & surrounded by fat. Hard to chew and didn’t melt in my mouth. It was birthday & only received a chinsey 10% off & no dessert. Ahmed’s will never be the same as when Sam Ahmed owned it. Steak really had no flavor. Unfortunately, I won’t be back.

First time here and won't be back. I ordered the ny strip for $21.99, first time steak came out black... ordered it medium rare. Second time it was still mooing didn't even cut into it, then found a hair in the potato. Server was efficient but not friendly. I love going home hungry
