Those refrigerated hamburger's that were red but now grey, that gets to your table faster than the lettuce core salad. Only thing safe to eat is the French fries. AL Smith's Place was an excellent recommendation to eat at. The food was delicious. Their portions are very generous. We noticed many people eating pie. Next time we will certainly join them. The pie looked sooo good.

When me and my friends first walked in we immediately knew the food was going to be bomb because there were so many elderly people already sitting down. We were right, the second the food was served it was silence across the table for a solid couple of minutes. My food was gone before I even considered taking a picture, and it was a lot of food for the price AND they loaded me up on the toast. Also Nick was on it with coffee refills and conversation, not to mention there is a student discount for people attending UT. Truly medicine for the soul this food. Almost brought me to tears. I got a chorizo skillet thing (I’m sorry I can’t remember the actual name) here’s my empty plate. Thanks Nick ✊
We went in on Tues the 26th. We were seated and served by the same employee, older women with pony tail! Food was horrible, we left it there and didn't finish it! Had we known it was this bad...we would've ordered a bologna sandwich....you can't ruin a bologna sandwich. Service was even worst! This was not the experience we hoped for! Save yourself time and money, we don't recommend this establishment!!

This is across the street from our hotel. We walked past all the people waiting in line at First Watch, so boring, and walked across the street to this place. What a find! Huge portions, delicious food, the friendliest staff, clean. We went there both days we were here for breakfast. Highly recommend. Support the local folks.
