This was my very first visit to the Brownstone. Worked out perfectly that they don't open until 3 until further notice, our large group had just gotten off work. Our waitress was beyond nice. Our food was wonderful. I got a Reuben, delicious, and the best onion rings. My husband got the BBQ beef brisket and loved it. The salads looked amazing and the portions were great. We will return soon!!

If i could give a zero star rating I would. The bartender liked to talk down to someone who came in just asking for a water, telling them to go get a job, then continued to talk about them to customers after they left. There's enough lack of compassion in the world, so this was really unpleasant.The food was nasty as all get out. And the waitress only came by our table to drop off the food and check. She was apparently in a rush to clean up before we were even able to pay and dropped food on me. Mind you, it wasn't busy in the slightest. Now I see why the parking lot is so empty all the times I've drove by.Wouldn't recommend.

Used to have great food! Someone needs to show the cook how to properly cook fish! Fish should lay flat not curled up! Ordered through Ubereats.com which allows you to select sides (which were missing). I called the restaurant and was told that you no longer get sides with the fish except cole slaw (Didn't even get that) When I mentioned the fish being over cooked I was told that they are not responsible once it has left the restaurant! Person answering the phone was very rude!!

Friendly service. Everything looked clean. Best hot roast beef sandwich I've ever had. If I had to fault something, it was a bit cold in there. But everything else was perfect.

I have been going in the restaurant for many years it used to be my go to place now it is under new ownership I have been going in to give it a chance tonight was my last time the prices are out of sight I know about inflation all to well but to cut back and raise prices and even cut the heat ( I froze to almost death) I asked the help if she could turn up the heat she told me she was told not to touch the heat as I said I have been a long time customer I will not return Ian sorry to lose one of my favorite places but Goodbye.

2nd time here in a short period. Both times I ordered a Roast beef sandwich.(Maybe swayed because Im nostalgic but Redwells was my fav) My friend ordered the same, we both agree. Brownstone roast beef sandwich is great! Horseradish is really good also. Inside service was very good.Sorry no pic because we destroyed it before I knew it lol .

Went there for dinner last night. Wife ordered the Steak special for $24.99 The steak was ordered well done no pink! The 1/4 inch thick steak came out medium rare. Steak was sent back to be cooked to well done. Steak came back to the table now cooked to medium so Steak was sent back yet again! Steak was brought back for the 3rd time which by now my food is ice cold waiting for hers so we could eat together and guess what!? Her Steak was still pink! How the hell can you not cook a steak that thin after 3 times being sent back to well done!?? We decided enough was enough! By hey they were nice enough to take $4 off her bill so she only paid $20 for a small salad, some mashed potatoes and an ice water! Used to be one of our favorite places to go! But last few times was a disappointment and this was the final straw! We will never go back!!!

We’re literally sad. This food was so unappetizing and bland that we’re sad we spent money here. The best part of our food was the onion rings…that we never received. Very disappointed. Hoping it’s just due to them being too busy to get anything right because this food made us sad. Feel like we’ve been robbed.

Was there tonight. Thursday at 6 pm. Was told they were out of steaks and Mac and cheese. I saw a picture on the menu of a bbq sandwich and fries for 8.95. Wife got grilled cheese and onion rings. When I got the bill $38.07 they charged my credit card twice then return one of the charges. But they charged me 2.95 for the fries. Which was pictured on the menu with the sandwich. Was told by the manager/bartender the fries cost extra. It does not say that on the menu. Maybe they shouldn't have the picture on the menu they lost another customer tonight.

Ordered food through door dash and did not get some of it. Called the restaurant only to be put in an arguing match with the lady that answered the phone because she said she was the one who packed our order. She kept talking over us when we were trying to tell her what we ordered. When we tried to tell her that what she kept claiming was what we ordered was not what we ordered, she said well I know because I packed it and it was on the bottom of the bag. We only got 1 bag of what we ordered. We will NEVER order from there again. FIRST AND LAST TIME!

Stopped by with a friend when it was slow and the staff is super personable. The owner is extremely interactive with guests and solid guy. Even the regulars are good people and I have no complaints.
