Their pizza is becoming my favorite goto pizza in Toledo. New York style and the sausage slices they get from Sofo's are delicious. I like that they source their ingredients from local companies.

Most of the staff was very nice and doing their job. Had one lady behind the bar that had a nasty attitude because the kids were having a good time dancing and got a little loud and told them they had to stop being loud. It was loud in the place from the start. People were singing and having parties.

I went to Capers for the first time tonight to eat and play bingo with some friends. The first thing we tried to order were the brussel sprouts for an appetizer. We were told that they don’t make those anymore and haven’t for 3 years. Fine, we chose another appetizer, no big deal. Then I tried to order my entree. I tried to order a turkey melt, was told they don’t make it anymore. I then tried to order the chicken supreme sandwich and was told they were out of it. I finally settled on the Tuscan chicken flatbread which was mediocre at best. I would suggest updating your menu so other future guests don’t experience this. The bingo was fun though, that’s the only thing I’d probably come back for.

Needs a little updating inside but the pizza was pretty good. Our server was kind, helpful and prompt. We'll go back to try another pizza or maybe some pasta.Vegetarian options: Choose your own pizza has several vegetarian options. Egg salad sandwich and typical apps are also vegetarian.

First time ever going there and never would have had the opportunity to try it if we weren't at All Star Music getting my son a clarinet for school. They are awesome as well... However, at Capers everything was really good. The only thing I can say is that the kitchen staff needs to pay better attention to special orders. My husband asked for no onions and mushrooms. He had onions and mushrooms on his sandwich. Other than that I still give Capers a 7.5 and I don't like pizza or subs like that and I really enjoyed everything. Thank You ?

Capers is a good South Toledo Bar that servers pizza and pasta dishes. The food is decent the kitchen service is slow . The inside is dated and needs upgrading however it is clean .

Basically a pub for older folks. A few tv's around, but not blaring. Everything pretty subdued. Great place if you want really informal and quiet. Food's pretty good, draft list has nice variety, prices reasonable.
