Ok, so we get there, and it's only one person who seems to be handling the tables. Automatically, I'm thinking they are short staffed, so them taking 5min is ok. It passed 5 minutes and still didn't ask what we wanted. Finally got to order, and I asked for orange chicken that for some reason doesn't come with fried rice unless you get the combo. Ok cool...i guess I'll get the combo. They came out with sweet and sour chicken with an orange sauce all over it. Like it was heavy on there...still trying to just push towards the taste of the food. Started to and the food tasted like I was at an all you can eat restaurant. It all tasted like it was made in the same thing..the chicken, the sauce and the rice all had different textures and small flavoring of its own individualism but pretty much tasted the same....I'm not even going into how everything looked and felt about the place. 4/10 do not recommend unless you just want to feel full.

Went to dine in with my Family @8:15pm. A women was sitting in the lobby on her phone and had locked the door. She told us " not enough time" and turned us away. Disappointed in the decline of this place

Excellent food great portions and service is always gd :) love some spring eggrolls and crab Rangoon :)Vegetarian options: My sister is vegetarian and said they had a gd selectionParking: Just hard if your coming from other side of Reynolds cause you have to do a U-turn my parents missed it at 1st.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space....a few kid friendly options :)
When it’s time for Asian American food it’s always Golden Lily for me. The food tastes the same as it did when they were downtown. My favorite restaurant since I was a child.
I used to work at the Golden Lily when I was in high school when the location was in downtown Toledo. That was almost 40 years ago and the food is just as delicious as I remember it was back then.I ordered take out on December 31st and picked it up at the pick-up drive thru window. I ordered egg rolls, crab ragoon, chicken fried rice, and sesame chicken. Every last bit of it was excellent.The woman who took my order and the woman who I dealt with at the pick-up window were both courteous.I did not go in the restaurant so I cannot speak to the appearance of the atmosphere.I recommend this restaurant 100%!

This was the first time that I had been at the Golden Lily Chinese Restaurant. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The food was delicious. I definitely will be returning to eat at this restaurant.
