The atmosphere and layout of this cozy dinner style joint is very cute , fits the late night aesthetic very wellHowever it’s misleading to the type of service that you will receive ..kitchen crew 10! Out of of 10!front of house staff RudeStaff was incredibly unfriendly, impolite and acted as if taking our order was a choreMore so staff was mostly concerned with chatting amongst themselves,over taking care of the customers and make sure you don’t need any utensils to eat the chicken chunks Loaded fries or the waffle because they didn’t care to provide anything to uswe had to go back in to ask for cutlery and napkins and the building was locked and was met with more attitude …I had high hopes for this spot ..

First time visit for my friend, Aimee and I. I had been here previously, when it was another restaurant. The place looks great now. Not an extensive menu but what it consists of are great options. I had the Double Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries, it was amazingly delicious! Aimee had The Club Sandwich, which she greatly enjoyed. She really liked the option of having it warm or cold. The service was absolutely top notch, could not have had a more gracious and attentive hostess! We both appreciated everything about Night Owl Diner and we'll definitely be returning soon! Thanks again!

My daughter and I went here for her birthday dinner. She's wanted to go there since she seen the adds. We got there and went inside, not bad it was ok just very small. The lady at the register waved us to her at the counter. We went up to her and she asked if we needed menus, we said yes and when she gave them to us, she said "come back up here when you're ready to order. Kind of odd being that it was a diner, I expected to be waited on at my table. After we decided what we wanted, I went up to the counter to order. After ordering, she instructed me to pay then, again kind of odd being a diner. Then as I'm paying its telling me to leave a tip then also, again very odd especially when I've had 0 service so far, I've done everything myself while she did nothing but worry about the 2 guys in the back the whole time we were there, but I still leave a 20% tip. At the time there was only 1 other person in the diner with us. While waiting for our food 4 more groups of people came in and all had their food and were gone with us still sitting there with nothing yet. Then after about 45 mins the lady that was at the counter looks over and asks me, "have you places your order yet?" I went back over the entire scenario with her and she places Mt order AGAIN. Another 30-45 mins later we finally get our food, which Mt order was wrong and neither of us got our appetizers. They finally get my order right, but my daughter was already done eating so I asked to have it boxed up and told her to forget about the appetizers that we never got. Sad to say, ill never in my life step foot in this place again!

First, the place was freezing, so I sat by the heater. I got the burger because the pictures looked good, but the burger that came out was not from the picture. My friend got the chicken and waffles and he liked that, but to spend $14 for a burger, they need to have real meat. I now have a funny taste in my mouth. I won't be going back.

Night owls in Toledo can flock to this diner conveniently located on Sylvania near Secor for their favorite comfort foods from 6pm until 4am. The service was excellent, portions were decent and the food was packed with flavor. First responders get 20% off their order. Swoop in and check them out!
First off there was no heat and it was freezing. Place just seemed like a dump. Waitress was friendly. 30 dollars for 2 double cheeseburgers that were mid at best. Charge more than 5 guys for a burger gotta come better than that.

I was excited to see a place that serves breakfast was close by, till I saw the mess on the menu n what little you get . Breakfast to me is eggs, bacon/ham n at least hash browns…. Not waffles w fried chicken in top! Don’t have hash browns on menu.Prices are ridiculously off the hook for what you get. Cost 45.00!! We could have gone n got a steak for that price.You order your food n sit down till they bring to you. But you get plastic to eat with. Check that funky menus out. Won’t be going there anytime soon.This place is for kiddies!Kid-friendliness: Food teens would eat or if your drunk I suppose.

It's to small for the amount of business they receive, food is very good, upbeat even though the lighting could be brighter. Waiting time after you get to place your order is about 15-20 minutes. The cost is higher end, so be ready to dig in your pocket a Lil ?. So order online if possible, if it was bigger with more than one register it would get five star all the way through. They could work with the cost of the food a Lil ... I paid $30 for two double cheeseburgers and fries no drink included. I have to say though, they were delicious... Lol ? don't think me and my Wife spoke the whole time eating except do you like it and she nodded.
