A must try cafe! Tons of amazing vegan brunch options- I got the vegan breakfast wrap. The wrap it is in had the perfect crisp. I got one of their specialty spring lattes, the lavender lemongrass Jasmine latte, I believe. One of the best coffee beverages I’ve had in a long time. In a quaint, quiet neighborhood, so it is great to eat outdoors on a sunny day. Highly recommend!!

Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free friendly.The staff was amazing when I ordered and made a suggestion based on other coffee house experiences. Very knowledgable and kind. It was my first time trying this place and it exceeded my expectations! I wish it was closer to my house because I would come every weekend ! My coconut latte and honey ginger iced coffee were amazing and the staff were very friendly. Only tip is to make a large chalk board menu or something so people don’t crowd over the hand held menus

We came here during our visit for the eclipse. It's not always easy to find a good selection of dairy free/vegan but Plate 21 had me covered! Breakfast options were excellent (Vegan Breakfast wrap and Vegan Burrito) and the drinks (Plum Oolong Latte and Orange Mocha, both with oat milk) are to die for!Update- We went back today on the way home. Get the vegan chocolate chip cookies. Do it.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options are clearly labeled and there are many.Dietary restrictions: I'm lactose intolerant and have changed to a mostly vegan diet to help manage. Plate 21 is geared towards people with those needs. Staff was knowledgeable and had many food and drink options.

Plate 21 has the best quality coffee in Toledo. The roasters from whom they order their coffee are top notch, and the methods they use to serve their coffee are remarkable. Their attention to detail is fantastic. Their breakfast wraps and lunch options are excellent and they have a fantastic selection of pastries in the mornings. The smoothies are a great on-the-go option as well. In the warmer months, it's always a treat to enjoy a draft beer or glass of wine on the patio as well. They also have lots of options for those with dietary restrictions, such as vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Huge fan!
The service was good, the food was good. My espresso looked wonderful. The goodness ended there, sour smelling and extremely sour taste! I suggest you either clean your machine to see if that’s the issue.
