For those of who are from the South,This Restaurant has very good Gator Tail!!!! TENDERMy favorite!!Margaritas are good and tastie.Going to try the 18oz Ribeye next...Oh didn't care to much for the Perch,But the Gator, BEY BAB!!!!!!

I had high expectations on going here, but I got there last Friday around 530 to a ghost town. Nobody there. This should of scared me off. Anyway me and my neighbor know this place has a good name. The "cook" , not chief (chief prices) came out of his hole to check us out. I guess we didn't look like we knew good food. (work clothes). Long story short, horrible food. On purpose.

Gator was good, french onion soup is definitely not a specialty here, was super salty almost like beef broth straight from a can ! Fish was good too!

Just want to say thank you so much for another great dinner Saturday night. We tried the alligator appetizer which was amazing ! We had a party of 4 and we all tried something different from lamb to steak to chicken ! Food and service was great!! Been twice now in the last 2 months! Will be back for sure!!

Our group came to The Mango Tree when our original plan was disrupted. What a pleasant suprise. We started with the alligator appetizer. Very good flavor and the cajun sauce was nicely spicy.All of our entrees were tasty and plentiful. The side salad was plain but very crisp. For dessert we split a creme brulee. ?As a lifelong Toledoan I am glad to have found a hidden gem.

This hidden gem would have received five stars if two components of this establishment would have been better. The overall taste, flavor and textures of our bread and entrees were top-notch; however, the salad consisting of cut iceburg lettuce served with a cucumber slice and slice of tomato left much to be desired. It was a terrible way to start off a otherwise terrific meal. The atmosphere needs some TLC, as it looks tired and out dated. The waitress was top notch with serving and clearing our dirty dishes. She knew her menu very well and was helpful with recommendations. The entree's are reasonably priced. We will definitely be back, but with less expectations in regard to their salad and decor.

Actually found The Mango Tree in a search for a restaurant that could accommodate my party of 8 on a Saturday evening. So glad I did. Service was great, the food was fantastic. Everyone in our group agreed that it was better than our original plan. I will be going back. Thank you so much for making our evening as special as you did.
