CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED TO TJS!! MY HUSBAND AND I ATE HERE A FEW TIMES A MONTH OR MORE THEN ONE DAY OUT OF NO WHERE THEY WERE CLOSED DOWN! This was our go to place! So unfortunate they're closed and not sure if they are moving to a different location or not? If not where is the sushi chef and cook working now??? ?

This place has amazing, fresh sushi with good prices to match. And they always have a deal were you buy one roll get the second half off which is great for dates or even treating your friend to lunch. I can't recommend this place enough.

Only giving 2 stars because sushi is good. I ordered a meal for pick up at 6:00. I got there at 6:40 and ended up waiting until 7:20 for my order! I ordered the hibachi chicken and salmon (buy one. Get one 50% off), udon vegetable and the combo udon. Things to note. The combo udon noodles comes as a soup like thing with a side of udon noodles. Do NOT get it. It tastes terrible!! The only things that I like is the Lunch Bento Chicken teriyaki, lobster tempura roll ($12 but it's also buy one get one 50% off) and that's about it. The salmon hibachi tastes REALLY fishy. Always understaffed and SLOW

Just had my first taste of T J Hibachi & Sushi tonight and I was so thrilled. I think they have hands down the best Japanese food I have tasted in Toledo so far. We ordered harumaki, calamari, rock shrimp tempura, gyoza and three assorted custom rolls. Everything was perfectly cooked and so tasty. Fresh, fresh ingredients! I had it as a take out order using Doordash and it arrived hot, on time and the take out packaging was spill proof! Trust me when I say spill proof again and hot! I will recommend them to everyone I know and fully intend to go to the restaurant so I can be sure to tell the owners and staff what wonderful jobs they do. Don't miss out on trying them!
