“Solid, old school diner. Probably what the Waffle House was before it became a massive chain. Small place, maybe 10-15 counter seats, five or six booths and four or five tables. Daily specials and a decent menu with breakfast served anytime. Kitchen area is directly on the other side of the counter, you can watch the cook do his thing. Handwritten daily specials on the blackboard. My Spicy Puppy burger was excellent - loved the spicy sauce that was on it - and my crinkle cut fries were perfect. They stayed hot almost the entire time I was eating my burger. The wife grilled turkey was very good as well and her tater tots were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.Wait staff was excellent, stayed on top of things and very friendly even though we were very obviously not regulars. Certainly an off-the-beater-path local place. If you like diners and are in the area, this is your place.Parking: More than enough spots in the lot with extra on-street parking on the street.“
“It was really, really good! The daily special of a Buddy Boy and Salad Bar for only $8 was awesome! You can’t even get McDonalds for that price now, and it was a pretty healthy meal depending on the choices you make at the salad bar. There was also soup, spaghetti, some good chocolate pudding, and other items there too. Service was great too. Would highly recommend!“
“I was surprised by this visit in a good way. Went in with my family for dinner. The waitress was good and actually seemed like she enjoyed her job and interacted with my kids. Just like how it should be. Even when she forgot to bring something she was right back on it. Food was good all around. I have no complaints. We normally go to the Tipp city location and you can tell the life has just been sucked out of that location and management is horrible there. They just keep hiring whatever comes off the street. But the Troy location seems to have it together.“
