I cannot say enough about this place! Everything they make is from SCRATCH. This family owned and operated restaurant sets itself apart with fantastic drink and plate options created by some of the most talented chefs the area. The atmosphere is peaceful... even romantic! ... it's obvious that every menu item comes together with thoughtful creativity. SO nice to see a local restaurant that delivers a unique experience EVERY time!

Amazing experience with some great customers!. Laura did our table side Ceaser salad, OMG, the best I’ve ever had. This is a must if you are in the Troy area!!! What a treat!

Do NOT let the prices scare you away. This place is phenomenal! I had the best salad I have ever had in my entire life. It had roasted butternut squash and a fried piece of feta cheese which was delicious by itself. What sent it over the top was when the waiter suggested me to add salmon on it…..the salmon was out of this world and it was a HUGE piece! I will be back!!

Perfect place for a date night or just sitting at the bar when you don’t want to cook. The main menu is all A+ and the specials are always great! The bartenders are my favorite in town and make a GREAT cocktail. My favorite dishes are the mussels, Caesar salad, salmon Oskar, and walleye specials. I have never had bad food here!! the view of the river on the patio in the summer is unmatched in Tory.

We were a party of 11. They put us in a private room which was excellent. Had small children, was able to close the doors. That kept the children from bothering other customers. Would gladly return for another special occasion.Kid-friendliness: Nice selection on the children's menu

Excellent food, tasteful and unique flavors and options. Homemade dressings and sauces, our table had the ranch, blue cheese and remoulade sauce- delicious. Crab cake dinner was a hit with the apple pastry dessert. Service was highly attentive and staff were personable. The place is beautiful inside and out. The views in the dead of winter were beautiful as well. I hope to be back to visit during the warm months to experience the outdoor dining! Love this place.

We’ve dined at the Boathouse twice now and we’ve been very satisfied each time. We’ve tried the Fish and Chip and the gourmet burger. Both are delicious. Large portions, served hot and fresh.The service is fast, courteous and very friendly.The atmosphere is wonderful. The dining room is clean and spacious.There’s plenty of parking. The Boathouse is easy to get to from Sidney.We’ll be back for more.

Tried this place out for the first time last night and it did not disappoint. For appetizers we got the crab stuffed mushrooms, calamari, and the flatbread. For dinner I ordered the filet- Oscar style, with the cheesy potatoes. Had creme brûlée for dessert (free because we signed up for their texts). Service was wonderful. Owner stopped by our table to see how everything was. It was a treat because he told us all about the history. Would definitely recommend!

Nice upscale atmosphere, bar that knows how to correctly make drinks. No draft beer though as far as I could tell at least for domestics. Great service. Food was just ok relative to the price point.
