My first cake with Sarah for my son’s 14th birthday!!! Absolutely delicious cake and she is just straight up talented!!! She did the cake exactly how I had pictured and then some !!! She is such a sweet lady and made the cake fresh that morning which I love !!!! Many many more cakes I will order from her !!! She was able to get it done on time even though I had ordered only a few days ahead ! Which is awesome!!! A+++ for her !!!!

Sarah was so sweet and laid back. She explained things to me and was great to collaborate with. We used her for our wedding, and only a month away from the date she got me all the way together! We were so excited to hire Sarah for our wedding. We felt her bakery was fantastic and beautiful. Unfortunately, about a month before our wedding she let us know that her daughter was graduating the same day as our wedding so she would basically just be dropping the bakery off and be running. We were kind of put off as graduation dates are given well in advanced and it was unprofessional to book the same day if you couldn’t give 100%. For her it was another wedding, but for us it was our once in a lifetime event. We also paid $50 for her to set up. She came at 5:30am (making us wake up beyond early on the day of the wedding) and basically put all the stuff in the fridge (upon my request because I did not like the cream cheese and butter cream sitting out for almost 18 hours). Then I requested she set up the cookies and she took the stands and basically just set them in there without any regards to presentation and actually seeing the cookies. The wedding coordinator actually went back and set them up beautifully, redoing everything Sarah did. Why did I pay $50 for her to set up when my coordinator was the one who had to?! Then the main issue of concern was that the NIGHT BEFORE my wedding while I am at my rehearsal dinner, I was being asked to confirm the flavors for the cake. I was mind blown that she still hadn’t started my cake at 7pm the night before, especially when she was coming at 5:30 the next morning. The bakery (cake pops and cookies) was beautiful but the cake was not exactly what we had discussed. It did look a bit rushed too. Guests did complain that the cake itself did not taste good at all. However, the cake pops and cookies were fantastic. We are just super bummed as this was one aspect of the wedding we were most excited for and it was not a great experience and just added stress. The bride should not be setting up her own bakery with her coordinator on her wedding day. The cake flavors should have been confirmed far earlier than the night before. Sarah is very sweet and we struggled with writing this review because of that, however we felt it was unprofessional and are bummed with the experience as we did spend a lot of money and booked her so far out in advanced. We felt like just a number and we were definitely not the focus of her day.
