Food was filling, but altogether lacking flavor and consistency. Eggs were bland, cheese was bland, soup was watery and its contents were overcooked, the bread (which I was told was sourdough) tasted like white bread and was sprayed with what looked like imitation butter which did not soak into the bread at all. Coffee was burnt, but the tea was for once pleasant of flavor. The service was prompt and pleasant, and the atmosphere of the restaurant, while subdued, was neutral enough to almost seem inviting. This is at least something I've found consistent throughout every Bob Even's establishment if the last few years. Which is a shame, I look back fondly to the restaurant I knew close to a decade ago... now it is but a poor shadow of itself and epitomises the depression of middle class America.

Restaurant was clean, service was ok. Food wasn't that great... has been better in the past.

If a pocket sized Mitzi was on the market it would cost a billion dollars. This woman is an angel on earth. I came into bob Evans for breakfast and I left with a new hope for humanity. This is the best server I have ever had, such a nice and down to earth person while still being amazing at her job. If you're ever in upper Arlington and need a ray of sunshine stop in to Bob's and ask for Mitzi, you won't be disappointed

First of all I want to say that I felt uncomfortable even being in this restaurant. Our waitress was incredibly rude, had a major attitude, and made it seem like we were a pain in her behind. I ordered the crepes and 10 minutes later she told me they only had enough batter to make a single crepe then just stood there awkwardly, so I said that was fine and I could just have a pancake instead. She then proceeded to bring me out two mangled crepes and said the chef figured it out??? I don't know what it was but it not definitely not a crepe. I have never felt more awkward in a restaurant.

I haven't visited Bob Evan's for a few years due to deteriorating service. Used to be a big fan. I read somewhere that the new CEO is focused on improving service and getting back to the basics, so I wanted to give it another try. Unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. Despite the restaurant not being particularly busy on a Saturday morning, the service was very slow (45 minutes to get basic breakfast food) and everyone in our party of five received cold food. My hotcakes were so undercooked that the batter was still soft in the middle. The server forgot a couple of items and had to be reminded. A very underwhelming experience. Hoping they can turn things around and get back to what Bob Evan's used to be, but I didn't see evidence of it yet at this location.

Great service and great food. This is a great place to go whether you want breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Always a good choice. I highly recommend goinging here to eat.

Poorly attentive waitress, negligent, and the food was not warm, not right, and overly cooked. The manager comped the bill. The restrooms are dirty and the place is not clean and smells terrible. Very poorly operated.

Decent food, very slow service

Service is slow. Employees here are way too casual - standing around talking amongst each other - BARELY paid us customers any attention, especially at checkout. This is supposed to be Bob Evan's, NOT McDonalds

It all began when we walked in.. waited 5 minutes to be seated, all while we were watching the hostesses converse behind the bar. They knew we were there but they proceeded to finish their conversation. Obviously they were more important than us. Next, we go to order. My grandmother ordered the beef vegetable soup, with a side salad. She told us that they were out of the beef soup, which is fine because sometimes that happens. Then, I ordered a salad and potato soup and they told us they were out. Then we asked why they were out of all the soups and she said "it's my first day I don't know". How does it being your first day matter? We ordered things we didn't wanted.. then overheard that they were also out of potatos, and things other people wanted. Pretty sure the tomatoes on my sandwich were rotten, but my waitress didn't even care. She got our orders, gave us our food and our check. Never once brought refills or asked how everything was. The manager told the person next to us that complained "it's not my problem, I don't order the things." And never once apologized. This whole Bob Evans needs an attitude check, especially Samantha and the manager. We went to check out and the woman who rang us up asked how it was, and we told her it wasn't a good experience. She told us that they had been out of soup since Friday (it's Monday now) and that it's because they are pushing a new menu that is released tomorrow, therefor they don't have the things they won't be continuing. She also mentioned that they are trying to push their chili sales, which is all they had. Are they not continuing the beef soup and potato soup with their new menu? If they have been out since Friday, the waitress should have said "we are out of our soups" when she sat us down, especially since it's prime time for soups and salads/sandwiches. That's what they advertise as their lunch's.
