“My husband and I took our friend out for his birthday and wanted to try a new place nearby. We loved it! While the parking lot was full, there was plenty of seating still left inside as very spacious! There are lots of tvs all around the establishment no matter where you sit, so you can watch multiple games when dining. They have a great menu with a variety of options that can fit anyone's mood. My husband ordered the Pepperjack Cheeseballs & Taco Pizza, while I ordered the Ham and Swiss Ciabatta w/coleslaw as my side. Very generous helping and very reasonable for price. Our waitress was very attentive and we received great service. We will definitely be back!!“

“Absolutely the place to be. Great bar great people, nothing like hearing WAP and the national anthem played back to back. No better place to play a game of billiards while slamming a few with the boys. Neighborhood gem. If you're looking for the real Waterville experience you've gotta hit this place up. 10/10“

“Took our youngest for a pizza date last weekend and she loved everything! Pizza and salad are always delicious and the server we has was so sweet with our kiddo. She even gave her stickers when we left! They also gave her a little bit of dough to play with while we were waiting for our food! Highly recommend!“

“This was our first time at SamB's, and we have two young girls (3 and 6). The atmosphere is perfect - it is extremely nice, you can hear the music but it isn't too loud that you can't talk. And it wasn't so quiet we felt our girls had to be too quiet. Our server (Grace) was phenomenal!! She recommended the Chicken Marsala for me, and it was the best Marsala I've had. My husband got Alfredo (-spinach) and he absolutely loved it! Our girls enjoyed the kids meals, and for the price it honestly was a great value. We were all satisfied when we left! You have to try the Peanut Butter Mousse Cake!“

“Good food, not great, took away some of the items that were reasons why we went. If you're going to list the specials, it would be nice if they were available. Not our server's fault by any means, but it didn't help with the attitude.“

“Village Idiot is a fun, low-key dive in downtown Maumee, OH. The inside has eclectic decor all around, quite a bit of seating, large bar, and pizza ordering window. Village Idiot only serves tavern style pizzas (byo and specialties). Our group got (2) pizza to share between three of us which was perfect. One may need to wait 20-30 min for a pizza on a busy day but everything comes out piping hot and fresh. One also has to go up to the bar to order drinks but they offered a wide variety at killer prices (capt and diet: $4, busch light: $2, Two Hearted: $5). Be sure to come early for a night they have live music to grab a table and enjoy!“

“Went during happy hour. Service was great and was definitely fast service. Took off a star simply because the first taco “Bad Habit” had 2 pieces of steak. It was delicious though. Margaritas were awesome but that second taco had more steak and it was a bop for me and my honey. The street corn was good on the side and on “the heater” taco prices were good as well 2 tacos and to top shelf margaritas less than $30“

“I tried this place for my first time and had a very pleasant experience. The service staff was great, and the burgers were pretty good!But when I ate the other half of my burger at home, there was a jalapeno snuck in it. My mouth was on FIRE for at least 20 minutes.My other half liked it, because he's a fan of the spicy. So I'm not sure of a score. Because that one jalapeno ruined it for me. Bummer.“

“Cheap drinks and pretty good bar food. Decent size portions on salads, sandwiches, and wraps. I love Laurie and Jamie the bartenders. They are always friendly and happy to serve you, the interior is small but they've recently updated their patio area which can be used most of the year.“

“Best Mexican In Toledo & Currently My Favorite Restaurant in Northwest Ohio! I live within walking distance to this place and have become a regular here. The food is consistently a 10/10. Always hot & fresh. I get the street tacos or Taquitos Mexicanos. The drinks are always made right and are well worth the price. Try the Cantarito or the Banana Margarita (I know this one sounds weird but trust me). They always have specials decorated on their board. The Bartender Yami makes us feel at home and when we don’t sit bar side the service is still 10/10! Sitting back and just observing the work flow you will notice the staff here works together well as a unit. They are extremely efficient and appear to enjoy their jobs. Before this place I enjoyed another close by Mexican restaurant and unfortunately they were not consistent at quality or service so I am truly grateful to have El Viejon in my neighborhood. Love this place and the food. Highly recommend. Oh I can’t forget..the desserts are incredible too. Try a tres leches cake!“

“Husband's Salmon was really good. I had seen on the web site menu had Halibut but when we arrived we found they don't serve Halibut and have not for some time. I had lobster tail which was good but not great. Desserts were amazing. 3 stars instead of 4 was due to disappointed menu and no halibut“

“Took four 13 year old boys here for my son’s little bday celebration. The bartenders were friendly considering I was bringing kids in. We had to leave by 9pm because they are under 18yrs old, but it wasn’t getting busy until then anyways. They have lots to do, pool, darts, ping pong, little arcade area. The food was good and delivered to the table hot. Will go again with my boys.“

“I give it five stars all around. The food was great, service great and atmosphere was nice. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap. I got to say it might be the best I’ve had. It was not dry and the taste was great. Warning though, can be messy. My friend got the French dip. She said it was good and it looked good. Check em out.“

“We had friends in for the Eclips... came in later in the evening and had a wonderful time. The food was great, we had the shrimp and samon. I ordered a new to the menu drink... a spicy watermelon and cucumber drink (highly recommend both). The inside room temp was a bit cool so if you get cold easily bring a light jacket. Will definitely be back!“

“Stopped in on a Friday night. Place was packed with only 1 bartender, but she was awesome. Everybody got their drinks in a timely fashion. Cool mixed crowd with different genres of music playing in the jukebox. Good prices on drinks, didn't try any food but it smelled really good. Had a good time, will be back “

“Just a neighborhood dive bar with a drunk uncle on the bar stool and decor and prices from the 80s. I can't complain when I can get a beer and a double of Jameson for 6.50. It's a bunch of neighborhood drunkards on barstools shooting the shit after an honest day's work. What's not to love? Decent service and cold CHEAP drinks.“

“My husband and I and a friend had lunch on Saturday at 2pm at the Heather Downs location. and it was fantastic. Our server Katie was phenomenal. The food was delish. The only thing we had an issue with was how loud the house music was. We could barely hear each other over it. However we will definitely be back. So good!“

“We've come here a few times and have always had a good time. The pinballs players come here and are regulars and friends with the staff. The food is pulled from the Distillery menu so it's great bar food. The atmosphere is a nerd basement with at least 10 pinball machines, board games and active puzzles. They announce when they have new pinball machines and the community comes out and shows up in a big way. It's a great spot to get away and nerd out with your favorite pinball game.“

“In March we choose Charlie's for our monthly family luncheon. They have a great room to accomandate larger parties, that provides privacy and allows your group the ability to move around. We had one waitress, Miranda, for our party of 14. She was very attentive to our group, and had a great personality. The food came quickly after ordering, and we were all served within a short period of time. I would highly recommend Charlie's for any group gathering.“
