Normally, we enjoy driving to Waverly just for Fred's pizza. Today, it was not at all like it usually is. Was the sauce changed? And the tea is usually great! Not today....may not be back.

We had a crew of 8 people when we stopped in on a Saturday night around 8pm. We were able to sit together and it wasn't overly busy for a Saturday. We ordered their largest pizza which is like 26", family sized bread sticks a salad for someone who didn't want pizza and 8 drinks. It was a bit over $100 for that which sounds a high but you can't feed 8 people at McDonald's for that anymore. The food was great. I like that hometown thin pizza style. When we were done we still had half a pizza left. It was huge. Highly recommend. The only downside is that you have to order at the counter instead of the table and you get your own drinks. I don't mind that but it is a pain when you have little kids.

Just went for the first time ever, and was blown away by the pizza! Got a deep dish meaty pie that was actually cooked through, no doughy center, no having to deal with overly "chewy" anything. The meats on top were crisp and crunchy, and delectably flavorful.The atmosphere was a very nice blend of old school Applebee's (when they had all the stuff on the walls) and a cozy pizzeria, which you just don't see anymore. (A negative for me, personally, was that every TV had golf on, but that's really not a major detractor.)Service was great and expedient, and also very efficient (one person brought out pizza, with another behind them with the silverware and plates).Overall, especially for a first time experience, this place was an absolute 10/10, and I definitely look forward to the next time I eat there.

Thee food was delicious, and the service was great. The only reason I'm giving a 3 star rating is because they don't provide free water. Our whole family drinks water with dinner, and a lot of it. Unfortunately when buying bottles of water, this can get expensive.
